I am probably 25 years older than you guys, and found myself following a few other reaction channels. It helped me understand a younger generation some. Now I see you guys really expanding your knowledge on more serious topics. I like it, I like that you are just giving your honest comments. You are growing and learning, and I learn about your generation at the same time. This type of dialogue is needed. I went to college in the mid to late 80’s. Life was way more peaceful and people got along a lot better back then. You could see this in the culture. Aerosmith and DMC. Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger. Most music was integrated on the radio. I could be listening to Def Leppard and the next song could be Grand Master Flash. I’m white and have always had black, white, Asian, and Latino friends. Still have these friends and we just shake our heads at what we see today. I went to college in the mid to late 80’s. Life was way more peaceful and people got along a lot better back then. You could see this in the culture. Aerosmith and DMC. Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger. Most music was integrated on the radio. I could be listening to Def Leppard and the next song could be Grand Master Flash. I’m white and have always had black, white, Asian, and Latino friends. Still have these friends and we just shake our heads at what we see today. It is about gelling with people who share your values and interests. Always been into sports and music for hobbies. I like peace and good times. You would assume that they would have very little in common before watching the interview. Having a respectful conversation shows just how much two men from very different backgrounds can agree about so many subjects. Both have been demonized by the very people who once praised and idolized for the sin of thinking for themselves.
