Years ago I was a music therapist at a boys' school. The kids were all special education. I wrote a letter to Ice Cube and told him that he had a lot of fans there. Ice Cube wrote back with an autographed picture, signing it, "To my Home Boys at [school's name]. The students were so psyched by that. They were jumping around saying, "He called us his Homeboys!" He made them so happy. Ice Cube can do no wrong in my eyes.

I promised myself I will watch this episode ten times.... this is great. I don't know how to say "down to earth" without saying that... I was fortunate to make more than enough cash than I need, and the way this man handles it is an example to me. It is a constant fight against myself to not let it change me too much. I didn't change anything big in my life, got a working car that will not break down, trusty, and my old couch was gone it had holes in it, when my good fortune came after years of working at it, it came almost all at once, so it took me by surprise bc there were many months I thought it would never happen, keeping faith doing what you love and like and thinking it can make some money is hard for that amount of time... anyhow, I digress, I will watch this episode ten times, promise. Lots of lessons here. Thanks Ice.

That test is already passed... as I said I have ben broke broke, now I am almost the same person, though I am not against change for fear of change, but I would like to consciously choose my changes, not let outside power change me, like all the attention I get now that wasn't there before, or buy a Buch of crap that will "show the world" I made it... money is just security it seems bc so far I cannot think of anything MORE I need to update, I was glad when I got rid of the couch though, my NEEDS were and continue to be minimal, and I have so far resisted my WANTS... another thing I changed is I got better food IN GENERAL now, even better cookies, I think that is a luxury a person owes to himself for health and wellbeing in general, I was eating WHATEVER I could find around or afford.
I know anything is POSSIBLE but I don't think it is PROBABLE, my income has increased a lot as I said, but my NEEDS are basically the same. I cannot imagine what billionaires do with all that cash, I am beginning to see why they give it all away, and STILL the main account keeps growing!!! You also don't want to give it tot the wrong people, it will destroy them, thus doing bad trying to do good.
      Good luck.

Doth he protest too much. He desperately always wanted a wife and kids. This is why he always says this.

@@adamlewis3729 I don't agree personally, it never comes across that way to me. I just think he's repetitive; it's the same with all the vaccine stuff he always talks about.

Good interview! Good to see cube standing for what he believes in no matter the backlash he gets. He’s really becoming a leader

One of the reasons I love this pod is the actual Club Random studio. It looks cozy and hospitable and it makes the interviews that much more enjoyable. Also, the sound quality in the room is superb, and the audio is rendered in a very warm tone, one that some sound engineers like myself can truly appreciate.
