Tears of not living a moral life, tears in the brink of being unprepared to receive death in the presence of God.
I felt God presence through Jesus Christ.

I wish the pastor had given Scriptures to help support what he was claiming bc some people need to hear it and look it up for themselves. Btw, Scripture does support the truth that Jesus is God.💝

I can across this video while searching for "Is Jesus God" videos. While I appreciate Dr. Stanley's extensive knowledge within Christendom, I do think he could have answered the reader's question more directly . Is Jesus God? Yes, Jesus is God. Are Jesus and God the same person ? Yes, Jesus and God are the same person , but God's nature revealed throughout scripture is that He is a triune God- meaning God has revealed Himself throughout scripture as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All 3 distinct persons are God yet remain distinct. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. The Father and The Holy Spirit did not die on the cross. Enough of my rant lol thank you Dr Stanley

You pray to the father through the son. We humans are not wealthy enough to get closer to God . It’s his word that came to correct us, prone as ... so we be clean before the father. just like any great king will give is order for a dying man, poor or sinner to be cleaned, clothed , sheltered before dining with the king on his festival day.

Short Answer: Yes! But we might not understand. God had a plan of saving Man(Adam, Eve & Offspring) so God spoke his Word. And all his words made a human being named Jesus and what had to be done! But Christ isn't just human! Jesus was birthed(Word made flesh) from God into this world(Matrix). The Word is in God! John Chapter 1 😊
To know God is to know ones true nature. God The Father is as vast and wise as our minds. God The Son is as our body is like matter, so is He in flesh and bone. The Holy Spirit is like our souls that reside deep within ourselves. All members of God is one just as you are perfectly made one person in His image.

Questions for an intelligent Christian.
Is Jesus God?
If he was God then how can the Father God be somewhere else when he was in the form of Jesus on earth?
If Jesus is the same entity as God, then how could he separate from himself such that he pursued to himself or sick that he could form a son that he could sacrifice?

The whole bible Jesus said father to god. It is with no doubt clear that he is not god himself. BUT they share the same spirit - the holy spirit. Jesus was full of god > this is a great frase isn't it? Hah!

So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being" the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
We naturally want someone to look up to, someone more powerful than us, who will tell us what to do and what to think; someone to give our power to, but that was the last thing Jesus wanted.
Jesus did not wanted worldly power, or even spiritual power; Jesus wanted us to know our own power.
The idea that Jesus is God is the worst distortion of all, as Jesus was and is no more a God than us; or to put it a better way, we are as much a God as Jesus; we are the same, equals spiritually.
Jesus and us are not different! If anything, Jesus came to show us that; not that Jesus was someone "special," or "the only Son of God."
The idea that Jesus is the one and only Son of God, and that people could only come to God through Jesus; has caused incalculable harm, discord and judgment; shame upon Jesus' name.
This particular idea is but one example of a distortion of something Jesus said, manipulated by those who either don't know or who were intent on building "the one true church"; a decidedly egoic idea.
There is no "one true church." For how can a church, which is made up by people, represent the Truth?
The Truth is a living Truth. A church is a group of people, presumably ignorant and delusional, as those who know the Truth have no need for a church; this is not to say that churches don't serve, or don't do some good work.
But please understand that Jesus had nothing to do with establishing a "church," or creating the "rules" and "dogmas" of any church.
That was created by people who do not side with Jesus, who misunderstood Jesus and had an agenda of their own; including an agenda of power, or that of promoting certain beliefs that they held; for whatever reason.
Again! It was not Jesus' intention to create a "religion," a "church" or even a "movement"; that happened because people misunderstood Jesus.
If people did understood Jesus; they would have lived simple lives in peace, Love and harmony with all.
I dont agree with this as jesus always referred to his father,saying he does the will of his father ...etc....but i do believe that jesus is more intetested in bringing us all together to worship and give ever lasting praise to his father in the spirit of love.so i think its not so much the finer detailes of this or that but the message and spirit of love from god to mankind.for if we worship the true god with our whole strength and our whole spirit,heart,mind and soul and love our brothers as our selves then all these other details should not divide mankind into religious groups but unite us.in jesus is our salvation.
