Agreed, although most PS4 and even PS5 games are still on the disc. It's the Series X that's the worst for the disc being a key. Barely an issue at all with 7th gen games of course.
I've played this game CO-OP mode a couple of years ago at my friend's house, it was a alot of fucking fun as hell. Last July, I bought Spec Ops the Line (Xbox 360) on Mercari for $18.07 before the game got delisted from digital stores.
Excellent! I already had it on PS3, then I just found it a couple weeks ago on 360 for $15 at a local flea market. (That was the video prior to this one.) Then I grabbed that 2K Multi Pack with Mafia II & Borderlands 2 with Spec Ops. Got that for a song too. I’ll have to try the co-op with two consoles. My wife and I love co-op games! 😎😀

@RokushoHasashi We NEEDED system link for co-op on Gears 2. It was bs. On the same screen- split, they cut off the top screen’s ability to see the moving parts inside that giant worm. And I kept getting killed. So i bought another GEARS 2, just so I could see what was going on. So, yes, I agree 100%. It was v so frustrating. 😂
Spec Ops: The Line is a game I think more people should have played but I agree, it's not worth a huge price tag. I'm hoping the pricing will go down a bit in the next few months once people realize it's not going to sell consistently for a high price.
I’ve already seen the prices beginning to normalize. On eBay, if you look, there are plenty going for around $40 this week. That’s still too much, but it’s getting there. There will still people thinking they’ll snag a fool, so their listings will stay high. And there will still be fools to pay. 😂
Spec Ops The Line is better than CoD MW3 2023, heck, it didn't hold its punches back like even CoD MW2019 did. Sucks to see it get deleted over a lot of crappy games that are still sold digitally. 2K should've made a legit Spec Ops game like the older games. Tom Clancy is rolling in his grave. CoD and Battlefield suck lately. And we haven't seen a new Socom US Navy Seals or Conflict game in over a decade now.
I've played this game and I own it digitally on PS3 and I gotta say it's pretty MID for what people are asking for I would sell this for like 9.99 the most this game is LITERALLY a decade old at this point but don't get me wrong it's a fun game but it's super old and kinda has janky movement
Yeah, just got done and I broadly agree. The story is pretty much all the game has going for it but then it really delivers on that front. I didn't find the gunplay bad per se, just unremarkable. The gameplay is very repetitive overall though. I paid £29.99 for it here and felt that it was worth the price, I'm glad I forked out for it and haven't missed it. That said I of course sure as hell wished I'd picked it up for £5 etc prior to being delisted... It's a game that can only really wow you (if it's going to wow you) once, which for me it thankfully did. Maybe a 2nd playthrough would be cool in a reflective sense, but that'd be about it probably.

I think that I may be easily pleased by some aspects of things that outshine the lesser aspects- like visuals versus the gunplay. Plus the voice acting was fairly good. Yes, it definitely brought some distasteful themes to light and I considered commenting on them, and had visuals selected, but edited them out for time. I also trimmed one section out simply because I felt like keeping the video a bit more palatable considering those who elect to play the game are already signed up for something disturbing. It was eye opening to me… and you may know the one part in particular I’m referring to. 😎
I own it on 360 and ps3 played it nothing special didn't care for it still don't but I do not get rid of old games - don't care how much it's worth (cough cough spiderman web of shadows 360)

It’s great as a FPS, I thought the mechanics were great as well as the graphics. The story definitely pushed the boundaries of right and wrong which I respect but wasn’t a fan of the ending as a former service member myself, it’s definitely worth a go! Good Vid my friend 😎

Yes, the mechanics were pretty good and because of the slight difference from Gears controls, I kept holding the A button to run, instead of tapping it once. 😂 It took me a little bit to retrain myself. I felt they should have made a fourth, more positive ending for our heroes. (But, nobody ever wins in a fight or war, and I understand there are always scars) But it may have been one thing that kept the franchise from continuing sales-wise.

Yes, it went back down. The extreme hype caused it to skyrocket overnight when it was removed from the online stores. Then about three months later it began to normalize again. This video was almost six months ago too. I saw it here in the USA, roughly a month ago for $30 (still a bit overpriced). But £20 is approximately $25 US, So you got it for a normal price. Have you played through it yet?

I think you totally missed the point of the game, first off yes its an older title, but the whole point of the game is the story the story shows the hell of war and its psychological impact on its participants,its a dark and grim story that I think is very worth overlooking any unpolished elements
