"I don't have enough money for a down payment" -- Explore down program assistance programs,
"There's too much commitment" -- It's true, if you are expecting a ton of changes in your finances, jobs, or living situation, buying a home might not be a good move for you. However, don't forget, you always have the option to rent out or sell the property too.
"My credit isn't good enough" -- Again, check the facts with a lender before you quit! There are tons of programs out there that will help you out!
