I sued Hampshire police. I reported attempted break in at my barn (not my home address). They came to my home after saying they wont investigate. They videoed me inside my home without asking & I knew that violated human rights act AND Regulation of investigatory power act. I won £2500

Hurty words is more important to cops to get you arrested than it is to to burgle someone’s house, where your goods that you worked hard, for are stolen and the police do not have anyone to try to investigate as they know they have very little chance of catching them. The use of the word Muppet, has been in use for some years now. & I don't recall a single occasion when someone was facing a prosecution, over having used it! This is 'political correctness' of the most absurd & 'really offensive' kind!!

The word 'muppet' is a term of endearment because you are an entertainer. This is clearly borne out by the four muppets who provided excellent entertainment on behalf of Humberside Police. They are also to be congratulated for donating 1000 pounds to their nominated auditor. It also has to be said that the subsequent police officers did not achieve 'muppet' status, which in the overall context is a good thing.

Cuffs are a means of restraint and not an offensive weapon. I'm a 78 year old retired police sergeant and also a residential landlord. My properties are in a rough area and I sometimes have to collect rents in cash. I always carry my speedcuffs, farb gell in a police pepper spray holder and wear a covert bodycam. I've been approached twice and they backed off when I drew my spray.

This seems to be becoming standard now - police counter staff refuse to do ANYTHING for the public unless you give up your personal details. So, if you refuse to let the cops outside abuse your rights by taking your details, you can’t even complain about them……without giving your details.

Isn’t it legal to carry cuffs as long as they are closed? That’s my belief and u can wear them on outfits I know some pups do so for events.

Just on the tinnitus AY, I had it horrendously for decades, went (reluctantly) for a hearing test (in Boots), found I needed hearing aids, bought them for about £3.000 (only proper ones are any good, forget the cheap ones often advertised), and my life is transformed, AND, NO MORE TINNITUS!!!

I saw a video the other day from Blackpool where the pleasure beach security staff came out aggressively harassing a single person intending to fly his drone legally over the pleasure beach, to me their uniforms looked too much like police costumes and they had cuffs. They got violent and nasty. Police came and smoothed it all over but the guy should have had them arrested and charged with assault

Surely their first port of all should have been to ask if they could see the footage of said incident so this was just another case of the police targeting auditors. So much for innocent until proven guilty eh but at least he got some compo which was well deserved.

The system must comply with section 4.30 (e) which says the pull cord must be red, located close to the wall with two red bangles to hold. The bangles should not reach the floor but be located 100 mm from the floor (the second 800-1000mm from the floor).

Im all for auditing but in this instance the purpose of the visit was to get feedback , the WPc was offering to take the paper and go inside to find the officers and you declined saying you didnt want to waste police time. Make your mind up.
