Casey became a Dad at around 16-17 or so there's only like 15-16 years apart in age of Casey and his son so they practically grew up together. Its a lot different than our parents that had us in their 30's and whatnot. I can see why it trips Casey out to have an adult child.

Do the math, it's not that much time. His son knows what his father does, and quite frankly, I'm sure he also realizes his father is somewhat a celebrity of his own making. I'm sure he enjoys the recognition is father gets.
Do you realize how much effort goes into making these videos? He probably spend 75% of his weekend filming and flying his drone for the aerial shots.
You are such a great dad. Love seeing you show him all the love you have for him in your heart. As he grows older one day he is going to remember these moment, but If he ever has a child of his own. College student apartment with no computer? no books ? no study area? no television? Not a world I would recognize.
easy to do when he more than likely pays 2300+ for that place. I would know I lived just down the street, I recognized every place they went
But dad's Rich if u won't give to him or wants him to do by his self and be a man then loan him a few dollars.. parents usually help even when they don't have much money. But that's not the case.

I paid 2100$ for 1BR that was one block from the school and it was pretty new. Compared to a few other friends' place, I got a pretty good deal (kitchen, laundry, bathroom, and a living room that could easily fit 30 people). Otherwise it's actually cheaper if you get a place with more BR and then have housemates, a room will be around 1400~1700$ around that area (Panhandle until Clement), and cheaper if you have roommates. Furnished apartments or the nicer places are around 2500$ and if you go South (Irving) or West (35th or Sunset) it's cheaper. It's only gonna be 3500~4000$ for 1BR if you're in condos near DT (NEMA, Trinity, etc). This is all excluding utilities.

I think it's awesome that you Casey have built this channel and life and are able to do these things with and for your son considering how little you once had. San Francisco California! This video is so close to home, literally and figuratively. Thank you for letting us take a peak into your time with your son. I am a mom to 5-year-old twin girls and had them in my 30's. Nothing could have prepared me to becoming a parent. You just do your best to raise them well and provide them with the tools that will help them through life. Tools that they could build on especially when they are on their own. I love the clips from National Geographic and the references to the Papa Wolf. I also love the track "Beautiful Boy". Keep in keeping on Casey!

I know this is an older video but i had just videos playing while do some work on my house. I traveled to San Francisco from Australia for the first time at the end of 2016 and i remember visiting some of the places in this video which bought back great memories, i love San Fran. I am lucky, only one has left the nest and she is only a 20 min drive away.
It just makes me smile to see someone being a good loving parent that cares for their kid. I know it's expected of parents, but a lot of the time they don't give their lids the love they need and it can damage them, trust me, I know.

As usual Casey is the king of Vloging . Watching your videos gives us hope to continue our life journey positively. You are really a source of inspiration.
To preface this, I've grown up in San Francisco for the past 17.5 years and its pretty much the only thing I've ever known as home. I'll be honest, seeing "my city" from your lens reminds me of how much I'll miss living in SF as I'm moving away to the East Coast in the fall for school. I still live in SF now, but even just seeing this, the streets and neighborhoods I recognize, draws some true nostalgia and sentimentality I didn't even know existed. So thanks, this video is obviously in a vlog style, but it was something different for me - a look from an outsider on the city and perhaps something I'll look back on later this year when I'm feeling homesick.
Also, I can tell you try to avoid showing what school your son goes to for privacy reasons but it's pretty cool to *basically* confirm what school he goes to (let's be real, there's only 1 multi-disciplinary undergrad institution in SF so it wasn't too hard to guess) .
I love SF had a blast there on our road trip around the USA a few moths ago, Sf to grand teatons Yellowstone back to SF back to UK
