With the age thing, lets not discredit the fact that Toddzilla didnt start armwrestling til he was 40. So yeah its really cool what hes doing at 57 BUT he has a lot less wear and tear than guys his age (eg John Brzenk) who has been on the table since they were really young.

@@RyanCooperSupporterCorrect me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that guys who started younger will be more adapted to it, therefore having a stronger foundation and slower process of wear and tear?
nvm, I guess being in the sport longer also increases your chances of racking up injuries. Although maybe if you theoretically don't suffer any injuries starting at a young age, then you might have a much greater potential I guess.

@nicholaswickiser3260 I've always loved Toddzilla & respected him but i gotta admit i didn't see this coming. I thought Todd would take round 1, maybe round 2 with his raw power but then Ongarbaev would do what he always does, tactically begin breaking down his opponent & outsmarting them. Kydirgaly does tend to start slow sometimes to get a feel for his opponents weaknesses but Toddzilla was in the shape of his life. Looked like he trained for this as if it was his final fight. Lots of interesting fights for him at that weight & would like to see a rematch further down the line.

Kazakh's are incredibly infamous for their steroid usage. IIRC, I read that they have a whole huge telegram group where they share what roids they take at what volume and their cycles. Would be nice to hear if Onga is actually natural but it's unlikely that he hasn't at least dabbled in some sort of PEDs considering how big it is in their country.

At 57 yrs old and against a champion a decade younger, more than his power, Todd's stamina was phenomenal and absolute savage.
Toddzilla did not even sit in between rounds. No corner men to massage his arm and give advice, but with his wife believing that he could get the job done.
It just shows he came there win, that age is just a number, and that you only need one woman to conquer the world.

Had no idea to predict and that made this match more exciting. Todd is so good at endurance and amazingly strong and so fast for his age, less advantages in physical to take the win from in the prime, much younger, well known strong, a full bag of experience plus technical top puller like Ongarbaev. What a triumphant victory! Armwrestling is the sport that teaches people the great respect for aging. Many legends with age still take the pride for world heavyweight title compare to the other sports. Simply dynamite!

Both of these guys i like so much.
But Godzilla is among my favorite arm wrestlers of all! So i am happy to see him able to took back the title at this age.! Amazing performance of strength! The side pressure isn't overrated afterall ;)
He even did that signature hand rolling thing at the end! which is my favorite part of it all! akin to a windmill of sort, just like i heard on WAL...
    I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
Still Ongarbaev is , always has been a true warrior and always will be. His winning streak at EvW is one of the best showcase of class dominance so far. After all they brew pullers over there in kazakhstan like you produce quaility product form a factory you know. It is incredible how they carefully nurture athletes form very young age, and then selectively choosen only the best out of all. I mean its like selection process into specops! So these athletes, when they come out to world stage, come fully equipped with enough skillsets to give anyone a true challenges, with very competitive mindset to back it up. I mean just by watching how they performe, you can see it, the desire to win/ the competitive side(which every true athlete should be), esp. when you watch Ongarbaev pulls reminds me of those mongol war general or something.. XD if that even makes sense lol. So satifying to watch when these guys from kazakhstan invested fullon in a competition.
I have to mention the fact that Uncle Todd was so kind to bring the rematch up when asking about whos in his crosshair. Whata humble and caring way of response! 👍 One of many reasons why i love Toddzilla much. Both Todd, and John, they had long passed those "extreme competitive years" of their lifetime i seems. They just seemingly having fun, albeit still giving everything they have of course. "Just having fun" doesn't mean one stop giving 100%, it just means they stress themselves less about win-loss and the "ratio" of it all(definitely not as much as the past for sure. Mindset of an 50-60 yrs old man isn't same with 20-30 yrs old), they just keep doing the sport they skilled at. They can still be sad when losing and be get happy+excited upon winning, it is not like they had reached nirvana or something lol No. It just means *not as much as when you were young* .That is one of the many changes of aging in fact. This is not just me saying out of me a* , the phenomenon is somewhat studied, observed and reviewed(reproducible) by different branches of science, for each of their respective corresponding needs. And above all else, that is one of many reasons why i utmost LOVE oldies !!!!!! I love oldies >60, regardless of their ethicity, sex, and whatnots(we are all Homo sapiens afterall), the traits of oldies is one of the cutest things ever happned in the universe, alongisde the like of stupidity of cats and nature of mammal mothers. Cutest things in my book are:
1st/ Cutest Thing Ever. cats' stupidity,
    2nd nature of mammal mother,
3rd the longness of a weasel,
    4th traits of oldies,
5th dumbness of a mentally handicapped,
and so on ... on... etc...
What were we talking about?.... Oh about Todd and John! Then i went into nature of aging. and ... Damn me!
So anyway, yeah. Talking about these athletes... Note tho there can be differences between person to person. But as ive seeing so far, Hutchings and Brzenk rarely shown opposite side of what ive mentioned above. It fits very much with these two guys. Which is why i like them so much, and respected them. Like many people, when discussing John Brzenk, they say "John doesn't have anything left to prove. Is the goat, always will be goat". Couldn't agree more imo
Anyway, I still believe Ongarbaev is very much a huge challenge for Todd into the future. He best be prepare for the rematch, or whatever Engine hav to throw at at him XD I am guessing who Engine referred to near the end of Todd interview when he said "we already hav a match for you " or along those lines if i remember correctly. Prudnik? or Is that DEVON TO LIGHT!???? I heard he love to say "champ champ champ "
I really can' t guess. Ongarbaev rematch or i honestly don't know :)
All in all thank you very engine for the event horizon and thank you every one who made the evenet possible, and all the athletes of course.
Congratulation Goddzilla!! Keep on rolling that windmill sir Thank you 😄
P.S sorry regarding the offtopic-ing, and also my broken english and grammer too. I just want to share my happy and thanks.
