  • This is one of the most requested videos for those who trying to be on Todd's style of training, Todds style is out there, there have been many similar explanations over a period of this channel, this is the first one that combines the opponent part, what to focus on during your training cycle, how and what exercises we picking, and when and how to do them.       But with many sports, its obvious at first glance there is a great degree of technique, strategy and higher thought processes involved.

      The big difference is that, here you get everything explained, they seem to have a good time, yet give precise bits of information. With Italia, I have recently seen a video about Jerry’s pull ups - so frustrating. Italia had only one job to do and he blew it, you can’t see the most important thing ( Jerry’ s palms/ fingers ) because Italia needed to present himself curling. To me, Paul Italia is promoting himself using Jerry.

    I truly believe that u are the key for the west to win in the super heavyweigth. What i mean by that is that u are the only one who know how to build a program for strength training in armwrestling. I bet people in the east like levan use soviet weigthlifting template for their programing ( the grandfather of westside ) . Look at your succes in the last years vs the rest ... at the top of the game programing is everything and i think u need to make others understand that .But hey who am i to tell u that im just an average joe🤷‍♂️.

    I do Toddzilla training but my own modified weak version - less frequency. Only 3 times a week. I can't handle more than that! Maybe when I hop on HGH I'll be able to handle more

      @Toprollking Productions it really comes down to how quickly you restore. What I noticed works quite good is having several major trainings + in the days when you have not restored properly - just a couple of specifics, like isolated pronation, isolated raiser, statics, etc. Basically, the takeaway I have from my trainer and some of the pro-s, is that you should train constantly but smartly at the same time.

    You are incredible Uncle Todd! Another great production! I have another WSBB question for you. Why did you adapt ME, DE and Volume days (3X per week, M/W/F) for table pulling exercises instead of 2X per week like WSBB does for Lower and Upper? I’ve tried your adaptation of WSBB for several months but biceps tendonitis in shoulder is too much. I am thinking of dropping Volume days and just doing ME and DE days for Toproll/Side Pressure, like WSBB does for pressing. Your thoughts?

      WSBB is training larger muscle groups with far heavier weights, they need more rest. Arms recover quicker. Train your shoulders as needed, a few weeks is usually sufficient to get them back in line. Drop volume days if you have to cut weight for competitions, otherwise they are a prime factor in rehab along with JM presses.

My gains are coming on strong, following the WSBB conjugate method. I had been following @DevLarratt’s micro pulses and mainly multi spinner wrist work. But my strong AF elbows, and thus my overall table strength and proficiency, have gone up tremendously since adopting your training plan. I am now throwing people across the table, literally. Thanks Uncle!!

    Thank you for sharing your experience on how to get stronger! How do you adapt you training to table sessions? I have two hard table sessions a week. This forces me to do mostly high volume training for one and sometimes two days after since it gives me the best rehab and recovery.
    Would you count the table training as max effort day? How do you adapt your training program for table time?

      Table time doesn't count as training and shouldn't impact your training. Train as hard as you can. As you progress the table time will have less influence. Table time may reduce your speed or max days, but it is not an absolute max we are searching for, more like the max that day. As long as your PR's are increasing you are progressing.

    Why not do max effort day Monday and speed day 72hrs later on Thursday like Westside Barbell?? Always faster after lifting heavy.

      For me, Monday’s are sometimes hard after the weekend. I’m busy on weekends, usually don’t get enough sleep and rarely eat correctly. I don’t have the energy on Monday for a max effort day.

    couldnt understand how speed day takes 1 hour just 6*6 and 3 sets of iso. longer rest times or am i missin smt? btw how do we place table time, i heard you do less table time and more gym work but how should the balance be? moreover, what about beginner-intermediate people? you think they should pull less on table as well or they should spend more time to get some skill?

      Beginners need lots of table time, experienced less. Table time does not count as training and shouldn't impact your training regimen.

    Question. If your arm physically does not supinate, and physically does not pronate, what style would you call it since you cant technically hook nor toproll 😂🤷‍♂️

    Todd's cup is his weakness even though he trains it. I think because his rep range is too low as its adapted from powerlifting but the muscle is too small

    What muscle is used with side pressure it's around the elbow can show the side pressure muscle what do you feel working more when you do side pressure is it the same muscle you use in pronation or cupping or it really is it's own individual muscle? What muscle do you use

    I have created a solid Workout plan based partially off of Toddzillas template, and a plan bought from VoA(Coach Ray). I do Todds Monday (Dynamic), Wednesday(Max), & Friday(Volume) .... and do the VoA 3 day plan on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.... taking only Saturday off. Although I do lighten the load a little on the VoA plan just so I dont overdo it.
    The 1 thing I believe Ive learned recently. Dont rush it, you HAVE to strengthen your tendons and ligaments with your muscles. My muscles outpaced my T&L and I paid dearly for it in my elbow in multiple areas. I was at a point where my elbow was throbbing 1st thing when Id wake up and still be throbbing when I laid down for bed. Im finally getting it to subside using the Rice Bucket, Contrast Bath Therapy, and just Icing it on and off all day every few days.

    Hey king, I've made a workout following the protocol that you're explaining us and I'm a lil confused about compounds, I used to do some bodybuilding powerlifting stuff and now I'm switching to only arm wrestling but..... I want to be the best in my category i dream to be the top level elite arm wrestler just like you that's why I sacrificed my interest in bodybuilding/powerlifting
    If I want to do something better we got to give it more priority right?

      Yes you're right, you need to prioritize. If you want to keep strong on the other Lifts, you can reduce it to maintenance volume. This can keep your overall basic strength high which may not have direct carryover, but it will still help. Just make sure it doesn't fatigue you too much systemically as to take away from your time of recovery for the important armwrestling specific lifts

      When i am doing strength work several times a week I so no less than a 3 rep max. Once or twice a month I test my 1 rep max on stuff. Works for me.

      Have the same question. I have two hard table sessions a week. I do train armwrestling specific every day but it tends to be mostly high volume low weight because of soreness. Try to squeeze in one or two heavy sessions for cup and backpressure when I'm not sore.

    Todd's arms have grown over the past few years but LEGS ARE VERY IMPORTANT ALSO they are your largest muscle groups and are necessary to build. They produce lots of testosterone cortisol and ghg when you build those muscles. Alot of upper body strength derives from core and leg strength. I got into boxing for several years most punching power comes specifically from your legs and some from your lower core!!! A tree cant grow without roots. I hope these arm wrestling workouts are in conjunction with a regular gym routine with atleast 1 big leg day

      @@JeepTeriyaki I compete in armwrestling and practice it regularly and you clearly don’t because if you did you’d realize that it’s nothing like boxing, your legs remain mostly stationary. Obviously I agree it’s great for testosterone and such but I don’t know of a single person who has ever had sore legs after armwrestling, even when propping your leg against the table it’s mostly just a change of upper body position and feels comfortable for some people, but no substantial force is actually transmitted through the legs. Anyways stop coming on here and telling a world class arm wrestler how to train for his sport 😂

      If I fail the lift 3 times, I write down fail. if it happens a couple times in a month, i change something.

    MON Hook, Press , supination, ulnar deviation HEAVY DAY
    TUES OFF
    WED Volume arm based
    THURS Toproll, pronation, rising, Radial Deviation HEAVY DAY
    FRI OFF
    SAT Volume Hand based
    Sun Speed Day
    1 of the 2 heavy days is a max day with the exercises rotating weekly

      you dont have a pronation there, and you dont really have much cupping there. you only train rising once heavy and one volume. You can easily do cupping 3-5 times a week, 1-2 heavy sessions others volume and speed.

      @@AdamLighter1 corrected it now, meant to say Pronation on the toproll day of course.
      I do high vol hand work completely seperate from my main workout plan usually as like an evening session and by feel. It's only twice that I go heavy though

      It's not always easy for everyone to give 100%+ on table every week. I train hard on table every other week because if I train every week my shoulders get too sore and that takes away from my gym work. Everyone is different
