RIP Musashi, went out like an absolute god. Seriously, can we talk about how badass this guy is? Not only did he become one with the Getter Rays, he freaking took control of them! Saotome straight up says at 34:37 that the Getter Rays are basically Musashi’s will now. That’s insane.
Shin Getter G (sort of, Liger and Poseidon are there as attacks) is an absolute cheat, lol. This thing destroys bosses with a swift disapproving glance. Between it and Gunbuster, T3 has it pretty good.
This death of Musashi is significant because it allows him to BECOME the Getter's will.... and again he dies giving us a much stronger unit and that one day that classic Getter Robo G will one day return.

Yeah i hope to see the Classic Getter G back in action one day, if i were to make the story of a SRW game, once again have Musashi become one with the Getter Rays to evolve Getter G into Getter Robo Arc (getterrobo.fandom.com/wiki/Getter_Robo_Arc_(Mecha) )

I swear, musashi looks just like a friend i had in school. They have the same eyes, hair, chubbiness, way of talking, personality.
It was pretty cool to me to see him in getter a few years ago.
We met in 2003 but obviously getter is much older.

Not one of Musashi's many deaths has ever been in vain, in the manga he buys them time to activate Getter G, and in the old anime he ends the dinosaur empire.

The Getter Emperor has seen his bravery and granted him virtual immortality thru multiple perfectly cloned bodies. When one dies, another takes over where the previous left off and it is as if the guy was merely sidelined for a time.
It's nice that Shiro has a special line when doing the Double Burning Fire.

Goodness, I was finally able to finish seeing the whole thing now that my potato is working again. For starters, I can't believe Shiro wasn't put into the Great Mazinger sooner! I had no idea he could even pilot it, but I'm glad he can AND perform a much desired team up with big bro. This of course means Tetsuya can pilot the Ichinana, yes? Can anyone other than Koji pilot Mazinger though?
But onto the star attraction that is the Getter plot. It never gets easier to see Musashi lost to the team, but the way this story handles it with interactions, especially with Amuro and Koji, makes it all that much more splendid of a sendoff. And speaking of Getter, that mech is a hell of a gap closer between old and new with callbacks to old Getter Robo and some retro-ish effects. Now we truly have the Holy Trinity of SRW assembled... It's just such a shame that Hi-Nu Gundam doesn't have any iconic imagery like the upwards shot though. It's the only thing missing regarding the trio of All-Stars.

Sometimes i am confused, in some SRW when Saotome appears he pilot Shin Getter Dragon or Shin Getter Dragon G, someone please explain to me this?
I know Shin Getter Robo (the mecha Obviously but i never see the anime)
In the show Saotome is piloting Metalbeast Dragon which is pretty much a large version of Getter Robo G. It is just Shin Getter Robo plot in SRW T is mostly original just like how they made OG Mazinkaiser and Tetsuya from Shin being existing in SRW.
