- It is very satisfying to finally caught up first place at the final stage of The Grand Race in The Crew Motorfest!
Cars used: Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, Red Bull RB18, Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R Octane Edition, Bugatti Barcheta, Cadillac Escalade, Ford GT
The Grand Race is The Crew Motorfest 28 player PvP mode where you will drive across O'ahu in 3 different disciplines.

First race is basically NFS: The Run in a nutshell.. city carnage at the beginning, getting places later, mixed with "make up time" segments, and then the grand finale, battling 1st place to win The Run.
That first race was amazing! Well done. Never even finished in top 10 myself. These races are great fun.

he intentionally let himself overtaken by others from start of the race and overtaken them again till finish. This game is more about how to manage NOS and shortcut in most efficient way on last stretch rather than being on lead on 1st section
well it depends because i’ve done multiple of these and pretty much just pushed my way into first at the start and everyone just crashes into eachother, splitting me off from everyone
Most players in this race are FH5 players and they love being rammed each other like it was their habits on each race.
Having to race with 3 cars for each 33% checkpoint and deciding what vehicle you need to drive the most fun thing because you barely drive with same cars on each race due "Tri-races" have different road/terrains to race.
Being in the leading pack is usually pretty important though. The backmarkers are easy to deal with, but the pack before the leading pack is the most difficult one to push through, especially when starting at the back. Those are usually people that was taken out/spun out and pushed their way back up, most of the time they are just as quick as the race leaders.
The soundtrack in this game is way better than Gran turismos, Forzas, and need for speeds. It fits the game and it doesn’t sound like absolute garbage.
I can't really speak for nfs and forza, but GTs music is for cultured people. That's why you don't like it lol just playin

Please to anyone who reads this don't buy the mclaren Mp 4 12c. It slides around too much as a hypercar and it almost feels like a drift car. Don't waste your money on it.

The first half of the nitro gives more boost, so when you can afford to do it, keep it above or at half. You see he doesnt always do it.

2:01 - this is why i didn't buy this game. i tried hard to like it because i was getting tired of FH5, but the handling model is so unpredictable because the game doesn't know what it wants to be out of sim/simcade/full sim. Everything about the game is great apart from the handling model. This is Grandma, we now how Zesty he is with the lines.

It’s so much better
It's better in some areas and worse in others. FH doesn't have multiplayer races with this many players, so that's one upside of TCM if you enjoy this type of racing.
Grand race is a lot more enjoyable than anything forza horizon puts out, 28 people is the most fun I’ve had in a racing game, not to mention the horrible load times in fh5 multiplayer races, you usually have to wait 2-5 minutes in between every single race in a playlist it’s pretty pathetic, nothings been done about it, still happens in fh4 also.
They both do better and worse in some areas. The Crew is just a really fun arcade racer, more customization than forza, more vehicle variety, and the grand race is chaotic fun

Do you use any drive assists (ABS, Comfort TCS, etc)? And is there a meta yet?
You can see the bottom left at the RPM gauge what assist I was using. I am using ABS and TCS comfort.
TCS Comfort is a must if you want to put down great lap times and be competitive. It just stops the car from spinning out a lot. Especially in Summits where every second counts

I hate how in the crew 2 they penalized you for corner cutting and now this game promotes nothing but it... Even the A.I corner cuts like hell, reason why I realized in order to get the edge in this game it requires beautiful lines mixed with corner cutting. I enjoy the game though for sure more, just would like to feel alittle more realism on the steering in this game

No one else knows how to drive properly, this game is repeating the same mistske Horizon does with the rammers and wallriding. Ubisoft should really just copy Trackmania and make the cars ghost so no ramming is possible.
I’ve had more fun in this game than any other racing game, I enjoy the chaos and so do many others, go play something else if you don’t
@@truek1ng7 Racing games isn't about chaos, it's about good sportsmanship and respecting other players while driving well. If you can't do any of that then you shouldn't be playijg racing games to begin with. And especially in an open world environment like Motorfest that ghost cars is a requirement to keep the races clean.
Ghost races are sterile and uninteresting, if you are unwilling to trade a little paint and get good by weaving your way through the chaos go play a time attack by yourself

@@lennypulse3231 This game is for the super casuals unless you make a lobby with specific players. It is easier than FH5, basically a F1 or rally game when you set the assists to max and disable the damage, but with a ton more grip on top of that.
People who think this game is good haven't played forza horizon 4 or 5. Motorfest is a kids game 🙄.. and the R35 taking the jump and still remains in 1st place just shows how unrealistic and terrible this game is 🤦♂️
Forza is way more like a kid game with the Fortnite emotes and clothing. At least TCM is much more fun and not boring like Forza Horizon. 😂

I would actually love to see an entire race without barricades or buildings or tunnels to see people overshoot a corner into a tree, im convinced so many players in this game just dont turn or slow down.
Yeah probably why I seem to do so bad is I’m going too fast most likely, could not control the alpha gp car one bit I was spinning out like crazy 😳😳

For me the easiest to control are the monster trucks, the off road trucks and the super cars - could also be I need to practice more with them as the speed they have is insane also am really bad at the gran races thing’s always seem to go wrong (missing the checkpoint, smashing into immovable objects and always up against racing masters who rarely mess up)

Currently no, we have to wait either until it gets re-released in TC2 where you then import it to TCM or wait for it to be released in TCM. All up to the devs now.
