Welcome to the middle of the chaos, pollution, overpopulation, and the land of smiling, super kind, and hard-working locals. Bangladeshi people have been very welcoming and curious since foreign tourism in the country is almost nonexistent.
Exploration started in the capital city - Dhaka - the tenth-largest and seventh-most densely populated city in the world. I love so many things about chaos, street noises, smells, the inability to walk in a straight line, and the new environment, which actives all my senses for survival. Dhaka's craziness exceeded any experiences I have ever had in any big city, including Old Delhi.
Travel in Bangladesh is unique. It’s not an easy or mainstream destination to travel to. Also, the visa process is not easy to process, and your shining western passport would not help much. But exploring the "other side" and avoiding the average has always been my goal with South Asia travel, which is exactly what makes Bangladesh so special.

Not whole Bangladesh is chaos but only old Dhaka is really crowded, full of people & rickshaw but north Dhaka is modern like any western cities 🌃 rest of Bangladesh 🇧🇩 is absolutely green & spacious, fresh air to breath.

There are two parts in Dhaka city. One is old Dhaka and the other one is the new Dhaka. Streets are narrow and super crowded in the old part of Dhaka. But Gulshan, Bannani, Uttara, DOHS areas are totally different. Most of foreign says these parts can be compared with Tokyo or Singapore. Should explore some part of the rich area of New Dhaka. I don't understand why some travellers visited old Dhaka. Every city has a poor area. The old part is one of them.
Yes south dhaka especially old Dhaka is extremely crowded with people & rickshaws. Most foreigners tend to venture in old part and give bad reviews about Bangladesh 🇧🇩 & saying most crowded & underdeveloped country. They hugely miss out modern clean & spacious part of Dhaka like gulshan, banani, baridhara, Bashundhara, Cantonment area, Dohs areas, Mirpur Cantonment, dia bari, Rupayan City 🌃 jolshiri abashon prokolpo, purbachal new town, purbachal American city 🌃 Agargaon, paribag, ramna, Shahbag, some parts of Uttara, airport road, These modern clean areas can compare with London, Singapore, Tokyo, Islamabad, Abuja, Canberra etc instead focusing on area like old Dhaka it only represents only 0001% of Bangladesh 🇧🇩 BBC CNN AL-JAZEERA are channels are true enemies of Bangladesh 🇧🇩 & they always tends Bangladesh 🇧🇩 to remain poor & never prosper. In their news they always shows when it’s flooding, slum areas, muddy banks or hut house & naked kids jumps in polluted village ponds. Arab channels like Al Jazeera says Bangladesh 🇧🇩 is an miskin country,it meaning in Arabic language is poorest or impoverished, so Arabs from many countries watch negative 👎 image of of Bangladesh 🇧🇩 especially old Dhaka slums & they’re think 💭 it is whole Bangladesh 🇧🇩🤣🤣🤣

It's amazing to see people in such a hot, stressful and chaotic place being so nice and friendly. Why is it that people in poor countries are so nice but people in wealthy western countries are cold and stuck up? I'm from New York. People are rude, miserable and full of anger, ready to fight at the drop of a hat. Strangers do not talk to each other or interact here.
Those are medium ferry ⛴️, radar that had huge luxury ferries. You may visit or find them at dawn or early morning.
