Make sure your camper/rv does not have magnetic ballasts in florescent lights. The transmitters and recievers will not function properly. The ballasts will have to be the electric ballasts for it to work properly
To calibrate the system effectively, the IR sensor is essential, as it enables the remote control to function. Since the remote relies on the IR receiver, calibration cannot proceed without it.
That is EXACTLY what I was going to say! For this much money, I would think the screen would display my actual RV and other objects. This would be useless for any legal applications if (Lord forbid) there was an accident. Maybe in the future.
What if I put this on a newer Tahoe?or navigator? Can this system be intergrated ? Or will I still need a seperate monitor? Also, is there a way to just use the cameras integrated on the truck? Will call tomorrow.
Hi, you would need a separate screen however he have a screen that would go over (or replace) your existing mirror and looks stock in the vehicle. Feel free to call us anytime for more details at 866-966-5550
Do you have a set up for a boat and trailer? The cameras on the boat would have to be wireless and waterproof. On the truck they could be wired. Or could I use this system looking back to see the boat with birds eye view. How far back can you see with the birds eye view. The boat is 24 feet long. The idea is to be able to back my boat down the ramp while watching the monitor.
This system a 720P-1080P, its hard to keep that quality and make it wireless. We do have an option to make the screen wireless if that helps. Feel free to call us if want more info at 866-966-5550 and ask for Tommy :-)
Where do you mount the side cams on SUVs? on the mirrors? I'm looking for a 4-cam setup, maybe 360, for a 2004 GMC Envoy, would like a realistic vehicle image (maroon/raspberry red, 129" W.B., electric rear roof, etc) if I go 360. Are all the systems nowadays AHD or still CVBS? This vehicle is an "XUV", it looks like a long wheelbase SUV but the back is like a Chevy Avalanche--a separately sealed off cargo area that can be washed out like a pickup bed and opened to the passenger area. Also, the rear roof is electric and opens so you can haul refrigerators, trees, etc. Hard to impossible to put a cam on the roof or tailgate--roof moves over 30 inches and gate is dual-action, opens down or sideways...
Very cool camera system. I like it.
Glad you like it!
If I have just one camera that moves after it’s been calibrated do I need to use the calibration tape to recalibrate all the cameras
Would love this system on my 46 foot boat. Do you have wireless and waterproof systems? As most know, no one likes drilling into their boat. :)

Is there a way to calibrate without having the ir sensor?
To calibrate the system effectively, the IR sensor is essential, as it enables the remote control to function. Since the remote relies on the IR receiver, calibration cannot proceed without it.
Nice system but for that kind of price I’d like to see my actual vehicle on the screen. Is that an option now or in the future?
Currently that is the only version available however, if we update the 3D models. It would be a free software update what would be a available free.

We don’t have installers in new deli sorry
Also, if you don’t have HDMI you can use the included screen
Can it work with the car's audio visual system or its monitor is installed separately.
