Growing up is realizing that there was nothing wrong with Karen, she just wasn’t Pam.
What about Karen the computer wife💻
Ren Foley oh did he steal it?
wowie so many peples
If Jim wasn't a numbskull coward, he would've realize Karen is def wifey material. Pam had so many flaws from the get go to the end.
@@jayr3381 A woman that won’t identify red flags or just ignores them is not wifey material. He lied right to her face several times and she just ignored it for her own wants & needs. Man or woman, that is how you get a toxic relationship.
I’d much rather have the flawed woman who is honest than someone who will just yes to anything. That’s not much better than a dog.
The sweetest thing is that if someone had actually upset Pam, Dwight would’ve literally hunted them down.
Gave me a good ol chuckle by myself 😂
I would like to see that
Yeah, but would he have hunted down "mensies"
When he says “I know “ that hits different
Those two friendships was the best, cause like what he said isnt a lie, dwight would murder anybody that hurt pam
The real highlight of this video is Dwight wrapping his coat around his waist
That's not a coat. It's a blazer

@JazQ I was talking about how he wrapped it around his own waist

@JazQ bruh
Karen gets a bad rep. On any other show, Karen and Jim would be a big deal. But since Jim and Pam were meant to be, Karen was an unfortunate casualty.

Dwight comforting Pam when she’s crying is the best Dwight moment
why was she crying?
a reeeaally awkward love triangle and really not fair to Karen
All love triangles are awkward.
^yeah but it was really unfair on Karen. A love triangle is supposed to be awkward, yes, but...gosh. She didnt deserve to be hurt like that, investing her time and money into a man only to learn that he only moved back to be with a woman for whom he still had feelings.

Me too. It’s a “thing.”
I just realized that Jim was super uncomfortable with Karen just mentioning of moving in some apartment close to his house.
While with Pam they date for a couple of weeks and he already offers her to move in with him.
Obviouspy pam and jim are soul mates, but it helps that they knew each other for several years before they got together and had a huge amount of bonding time, having fun pranking dwight and office stuff, whereas jim and karen spent only months working together and didnt have nearly as much fun. Fun is so super important and really connecting between people (studying social sciences), so its not surprising that he was much more comfortable with pam moving in.

The more I watch the show, I realise how opposite Karen and Pam are. Karen is ambitious, very competent, highly motivated and knows what she wants. Pam is very kind and empathetic but also insecure, indecisive and has goals but lacks motivation. Any guy would have chosen Karen over Pam, but to Jim, Pam is the perfect woman despite her flaws!

it actually really upsets me how Jim lead Karen on. She deserved someone who would love her as she loved them. For anyone reading this, don't do what Jim did, don't get involved with anyone until your heart is ready to give them all the love they deserve, otherwise, you are just breaking theirs.

That’s really unrealistic, people can start seeing someone and not be in love with them. Just liking them is enough to begin with.
@@lunavyz901 i am saying don't start seeing someone if you are still in love with someone else...
@@sarahhamdan5470 sure that’s good advice in a perfect world. But, sometimes having someone new in your romantic life can help you let go of someone you love.
Also, what about widowers? They need to stop loving their deceased spouse to fall in love again? Nonsense. You can love someone and start seeing someone else. That being said, it’s a good idea to let them know of those feelings.
@@lunavyz901 widowers don't have to stop loving them, having love for someone isnt my problem, but they need to take time to grief and move on with their lives before bringing someone new in, in my opinion... the new person must respect their love for their old spouse... my point is, if their old spouse JUST died, bringing in someone new will nit allow them to greif properly, they will use them as a distraction, and their feelings will build up and explode at some point, the new person will be left in a really bad situation... getting in a romantic relationship to feel better will only work temporarly, ur gonna end up leading the new person on, and breaking both of ur hearts for no reason... thats how i veiw it at least... to move on i thonk they should surround themselves with their children, parents, friends, etc... no need for a relationship right afre a death or a breakup...
No one would realize this, but the most heartwarming character in the office is Dwight.
Dwight's soft spot for Pam is the most wholesome part of the series
The way that Dwight looks so genuinely pained while Pam is crying, thinking she is just genuinely PMS'ing. lol
In an interview, Rainn Wilson revealed that the actress who plays Pam (forgetting her name at the moment), was so believable in her crying mode that it really moved him and made him tear up in real life which made this scene that much better.
I like how at the end Pam got all watery eyes . It made me feel like it was genuine. Even tho it’s all acting.
It was never a love triangle. It’s always been Jim and pam
that is some world class acting. when Jim asked her out, her reaction I could just feel inside my chest. like she got the one single thing that she wanted more than anything in the world and the thing that suddenly set her life back on the right track and made her forget all the rationalizing she was doing just moments earlier. she conveyed so much of that in about 4 seconds of screen time without saying a word.
I love how protective Dwight got over Pam :,)
Dwight is so sweet how he immediately wants to kill who hurt her.
When Dwight said “who did this to you?” So wholesome made me smile
Fun Fact: the actors who played Jim and Karen dated before The Office even existed.
Probably explains why they have so much more chemistry when they’re just goofing around.
How do you know?
Pam: reject jim
Jim: date karen
Pam: you're not supposed to do that!!!!:o

It was satisfying seeing Jim go off and be with somebody else because Pam definitely toyed with his feelings; gave her a taste of her own medicine.
HS She rejected Jim when he told her he loved her and later when he was with Karen she made Jim feel guilty because she had broken her engagement with Roy because of him. That’s what bugs me about Pam, she didn’t know what she wanted.
HS I 100% agree with you. But you gotta admit she would flirt with him when it was convenient for her but freak out if somebody noticed, and hated the idea of him being with somebody else. She literally kissed Jim at the dundies while she was with Roy even if she was drunk she definitely meant to do it. She was fully aware of her feelings for him and I think she was always aware of his feelings for her
HS She told Jim she had broken her engagement with Roy because of him, she didn’t care he was with Karen and he had moved on.
@@romy4546 ok , but had done the same thing . He insisted to kiss her even when she rejected him first and she was engaged . So they deserve each other really

James Gabriel Martin that escalated quickly 😬
Constantly flirting with an engaged woman (or flirting with another man while being engaged) or having this weird thing with the cameraman while your husband is away working. Yeah it's not a good take. James is right, Pam is a human trash. Same with Jim

Mike Honcho I believe it was jarhead
I actually liked the moments when Pam and Karen would get along. Like how they made a second party just to spite Angela because Pam thought the Stamford Christmas activities could be fun.
Apart from that, since Jim and Pam were so "meant to be", I thought Karen was a little annoying in the sense that she had all these bars to hit in her relationship with Jim. I can tell she wanted to cut the vine of his affection to Pam, but only because she was his girlfriend and why would she want her boyfriend to get cozy with another woman?
I also had the assumption that Jim's relationship with Karen was a bit tiresome, although it was kind of obvious. She kept him up in the late hours of the night to have heart-to-hearts about the foundation of the relationship. I can understand talking through problems, but the big difference is that you should be able to fix it and move on.
I feel like Karen was trying so hard to make this perfect relationship and help Jim get over Pam, but according to the story (and a little fate XD), Jim just couldn't shake his feelings for Pam. He realized this when David asks him in the interview what made him love working in Scranton.
Karen, of course, would've been heartbroken that he left her, and it overall might have not been the best move in their friendship/relationship, but again, the moral is ultimately to move on. We see Karen on occasion in later episodes (Branch Wars, Lecture Circuit, Threat Level Midnight,...) and we see that she did. She even got married and had her own children!
So, overall, I believe she was just doing the best she could to preserve the relationship she had with Jim for as long as she could because she knew he was a keeper but eventually had to learn to move on and find someone else who could make her just as happy and more.
(Sorry for the "essay"... I get nervous when there's a matter of choosing sides...)
And unluckily for her she HAD to move on because jim abandoned her in NYC to go ask Pam to dinner 😂
I really like how in the compilations that feature a less than comedic tone, the final cue of the opening title theme is omitted so it doesn't clash with the nature of what's about to be shown. This was a pretty serious moment for the show and a lot of the story as a whole is based on Jim and Pam both struggling to get what/who they want, hurting people along the way who were just trying to find some happiness themselves.
To be honest, the love triangle was done pretty realistically. Karen wasn't a bad person, she was really cool, but with how Pam and Jim were still fighting attraction to eachother, she could've seen that and decided to dump Jim instead of try to change his life to better suit what she wanted. He wasn't going to change, and she deserved someone who was committed to her, truly.
Dwight's and pams friendship is wholesome

The whole Dwight/Pam and Jim story arc is brilliant as well. He goes from being the target of their silly and, even sometimes cruel, pranks..to being Pam and Jim's emotional crutch and vice versa as the show goes on.
Jim actually manipulated Karen to come to Scranton just so he could have a distraction to Pam, trying make her jealous 😂
Yeah I didn't like that either, he knew he had some doubt, he knew that working with pam while dating karen would be weird af because of his feeling for pam, he did told karen to join him to scranton anyway
That isn’t the case at all. He had feelings for Karen and, while being away from Pam, developed the same sort of relationship. He could move on as he saw Pam as unattainable, she was engaged, told Jim she wouldn’t call it off and that allowed Jim to move on.
Even after going back to Scranton, Jim was a bit off with Pam but still showed he had feelings for Karen, as it was awkward seeing the person who rejected him.
The issues only came when Pam broke of the engagement, then see was suddenly attainable, and Jim new she most likely still had feelings for him. Therefore the coping mechanism that helped Jim move on was broken, which allowed him to start to have feelings for her again.
Then he was shitty towards Karen as he knew he and Pam wanted to be each other, he had only know Karen for a short time so didn’t have as intense feelings for her. This lead to him confessing he still liked Pam.
“Who did this to you.. where is he?” Then that pose at the end, truly an Oscar worthy performance
Jim’s look of horror at 5:14 😂😂😂
Pam and Dwight's friendship ❤️
Just....right in the feels each time.
Dwight and Pam's friendship was so wholesome
It's unbelievable how they're not together in real life, the acting is just so relatable, so perfect, spot on. Just goes to show how amazing of an actor they are.
Still love Karen more than Pam. Karen pushed Jim harder because she knew he was capable of being better and STILL be the fun guy.
Pam held Jim back. She did. But I also know why she was scared of trying again; she did the art gallery, wasn't supported by anyone but Michael (which was helpful but I know it was a jab at the heart what Oscar and Gill said about her drawings), did art school and failed, left to join a failing paper company, and tried to be a salesperson and failed. So I understood the hesitation but the delusion of her not wanting to support Jim's dream by being adamant about staying in Scranton was what made their relationship take a bigger downfall.
The fact that Jim and Pam always hid a lot from each other set them up to fail and because of their natures of not wanting to talk about it, made me like Karen. She made Jim talk about his thoughts and feelings. Also I totally think if Karen was a part of Athlead it would have gone great.
Pam never tried to hold back jim purposefully, they had 2 young kids, and with jim taking a job(for which he wasn't guaranteed a paycheck) that was very risky in another city he was basically forcing to be a single mother while working a full-time job and he made that decision without which is not something one should do while married. Also karen may have tried to push but pam excepted jim for who he was
100% agreed what u said. Pam was holding Jim back
Jim became the top salesman and co-manager when he was with pam.. the athlead fiasco is jim's fault . Pam had the right to adjust to the idea of moving the family . And she has redeemed the situation because they love each other . Jan and ryan were good characters at first what make you sure that Karen will be the same good character. I like her and She had her happy ending after all .
@@esreda1441 the top salesman was always dwight. And becoming co manager had noting to do with Pam. Imagine Jim could have become Vice President of Dunder Mifflin. Of course that was his choice. When Pam didnt persue her Art thing in new york..that was a the real sign that Pam wasnt really ambitious and also was afraid to go the Philly. If they ended Jim's arc in scranton..it would have been a killing move. Glad it didnt happen. I m not bashing Pam..She has kind of all the perks guys see in someone...except that

Like bro jim didn’t think of cheating on her with kathy when she was literally hitting on him, but NOOO, getting screamed at because you didn’t record a video is a better reason to cheat
James Gabriel Martin SHE IS!
Nobody she saw brian as a friend and she would never cheat on her soulmate, i can tell you have never been in love, or married. smh 🤦♀️
Man I wish we got more Pam and Karen, they're dynamic is amazing.
Honestly Jim wasn't a great person when it came to these two women.
Jim just did what every normal person would have done: He doubted himself, he doubted his feelings for the two women he appreciated. The timing was really not on his side though. If the two branchs merged just a little bit sooner, he would have directly dated Pam, and a little bit later, he may have gone further with Karen. It's not an ideal scenario, but I'm glad he was a character that some of us could relate to.
The only thing I think he really did wrong was to kiss Pam when she was still engaged. He could just have told her his feelings and waited for her to decide what she wanted to do with Roy.
Because he's human and humans are not perfect when dealing with their relationships
Love that Dwight calms pam down the minute he sees her sad.!!!!
The most heartwarming part is when dwight also looks like he is on the verge of tears when he sees pam crying.
Dwight being defensive over Pam is actually really nice
It's not a triangle, it's more of a line
She nailed that look of pure joy at the end
Jim and Pam are living proof that you can make it out of the friend zone
Yeah, that's just not factually accurate. It might be possible if you look like Jim then maybe. If not then no you're screwed.
karen > pam! yea i said it! everyone forgets about jim asking pam to dinner right after dumping karen too
Pam and dwights friendship throughout the show is one of the best things about it
I have no doubt that if Karen and Pam were not pining for Jim, they would've been BFFs. But, so goes life.
What about the Michael, Jan, and Ryan love triangle??
6:20 I almost thought we were gonna go the whole video without seeing Dwight

Karen lowkey awesome
I will always shout from the rooftops that "what time is it there?" is phenomenal romance writing
The GREATEST relationship in the HISTORY of television
When Pam told Jim she was going to marry Roy, I could feel his pain.
I didnt know people didnt like Karen 😂 she was my personal favorite. She is so cool! I felt so bad for her! Jim was using her as a rebound. "Do you still have feelings for her" It kills!!!!
I personally wasn't the biggest fan of Pam at first because she was such a pushover - ((not only that, but she was entertaining Jim while being engaged to Roy and turned Jim down like twice but w.e. it worked out in the end)).
It wasn't until later on that I really liked her. Her personality shined through, she knew what she wanted and she wasn't afraid anymore. She left her toxic ex-fiance and focused on herself and when the opportunity showed itself she went to Jim ---- unapologetically. You go girl!!
Dwight mentioning PMS as to why Pam is crying is hilarious!!!
