This is the most comprehensive review I've seen, without telling me what size twinkie will fit in each storage space 🙄 Thank you 👍

HAHA I'll make sure to add in some twinkie boxes for future reviews 🤣

As I’ve told you on another one of your videos, I’ve just purchased the 2022 reserve model and I swear I cannot tell the difference in that model versus the newer OR older ones. The design changes are very minimalistic. I love them though. ♥️

You're right.. very subtle differences year over year. Honestly, good call on saving money and going for a 2022 instead. It has pretty much the exact same feature set and you don't have to worry about the initial depreciation hit

Thank you so much, glad the video is helping you out! How are you enjoying your Aviator so far? Is it the first time that you've owned a Lincoln?

@@CarsWithSteve first time since a 1978 Lincoln Town Car. Neeedless to say, things have changed.😁. The Aviator has the 202A package and is great with the adaptive suspension and the lowering to get in and out. It has the right amount of technology, but not too much. I hope all the features and gadgets are still this good at 100000 miles. I guess we will all find out.

Oh wow, just a few things are different between now and then. I just saw a white '76 Mark IV this morning, great classic car. Hopefully this new one treats you well. Enjoy the new ride!

"Beastly Navigator." 😆 I like that! Why do I get the feeling that was directed at A PARTICULAR Navigator owner of your acquaintance?
I'm a fan of the Aviator, I really like it. I suppose the big question for folks trying to decide between an Aviator and the Ford Explorer is whether the amenities Lincoln offers above Ford justifies the price difference. I'm curious as to your thoughts on that question, Steve.
Again, another great video. I really like the graphics you include to illustrate things like the interior dimensions.

You may have mentioned it once or twice before ;) Working on some new graphics too so there should be a new look out by the summer!
The Aviator vs Explorer question is a good one.. It ultimately depends on what you find important in a vehicle. If you're only after the performance, the Explorer ST, King Ranch or Platinum would be the way to go. The Lincoln lineup will have a quieter interior, better design, improved suspension and better warranty. Pricing wise the 2024 Aviator is about $3k more than the Explorer ST or $9k for a more loaded version

Any idea when the 2025 is supposed to be released?

    • @CarsWithSteve

It should be anytime now, Lincoln is just beefing up QC. My guess is by end of September

That cover for the hitch is an interesting and good idea. I hope they aren't expensive, because I question the durability of those tabs. There are a lot of them, which is good redundancy though.
Power down/up seat folding strikes me as being utterly not worth the additional complexity. Cool gadgetry though. Ditto electric door handles, except those don't have any real cool factor. I'm a firm believer in KISS. The marginal improvement in convenience, if any, these luxury gadgets bring just doesn't make sense to me. They don't bring any FUNCTIONAL improvement, and the cost boost makes them a true negative in my book.
Sweet seeming ride though, it would definitely be on my potentials list if I could convince myself to spend that much.

Pricing isn't too bad.. looking at about $200 to replace it if it does break! The 3rd row power seats are interesting for sure.. it would be useful if you could go power or manual, but it's strictly power so if the switch stops working your SOL until it's fixed

I have 2 ST- a 2020 loaded and a 2023 almost loaded ST, going in for an Aviator Black Label tomorrow. Why? because the ride is absolutely different! We love the ST as we are in construction and have pets, but the Aviator Black Label is the Grass Fed Filet Mingot of the Family Lineup size wise. Is it necessary, no but is it wanted and going to be beautiful heck YES. We do not need to sacrifice that engine power but gain the elegance and continue the massaging chairs, 3D camera, and streamlined body.

All black on luxury cars don't look that good. Like leave a little bit of chrome.
