My dad visited this cave when he was 7. He says it's a beautiful cave and he would love to go again someday.
Thanks for the tour! I have been there only once during the 2017 Solar Eclipse. It was so busy only the big cavern was open, no guided tours :(
The best adventure I ever had. That ascending staircase rattled and shook all the way up! I survived Fat Man's Misery!
This is an amazing place! I can’t stand small cave’s irl so for me this was a chanse to expirience this whitout being there😃thank’s for this! TC!🖐
Great tour! I think this is amazing for people who might not be able to go inside a cave. Thank you!
Hope you enjoyed it Kiya!
I love his tours as I am one of those using a wheelchair and can't go in. I was lucky to see our Florida Caverns in 1971 when I was a teen. LOVE CAVES!!
The last time I was there, in the early 1970's with my parents, we took all of the tours they offered then. I still enjoyed this one, even if it was shorter then than now. The guides would stop us every so often and explain different things along the tours.
Randy thanks for watching!
If you do these tours stay at the front with the guide. You will get so much more info on the caves.
Thank you for this great experience !! Such a interesting and amazing place and even the name Mammoth Cave sounds awesome !! Wonders of the world never seems not to amazed me 👍!!!
Thanks Jari!!!
Amazing got to get fit so I can take my peanut there this summer
The all time classic cave tour on the planet, thanks.
You are very welcome. Thanks a ton for watching.
@@ThePerfectWalk Thanks for letting the cave speak for itself. I participated in the modern resurvey of those very passages in the early 1990s, and it was a real treat to be allowed to wander those giant passages alone in the middle of the night, while one of us drew the new high-resolution sketch over hours and hours. Survey standards have improved yet again, and I am sure our work has been further refined using laser rangefinders and electronic compass/inclinometer readings.
Nice video, beautiful walk in Mammoth Cave, thanks for sharing 👌
Thanks for watching!
The one time I went to Mammoth cave back in 2018 I did the Lantern Tour, so it's very interesting to see the cave like this.
Thanks for taking us on a walk through Mammoth Cave. It's amazing what time and water can create. Wonderful experience
Thx Greg - can’t wait to go back again
Time and water ? Are you serions?
Thank You so much for this video . I would have never been able to do this tour without your help.
You’re so welcome Debbie! Be sure to check out the other cave tours and national park walks on the channel!
This is really cool!! I couldn't do this in person and I thank you much for recording this. It was a great tour.
That’s awesome to hear - thanks for watching Beverly
OMG..I can't believe it I love THIS cave than other.. because it very perfect for me to go and it damn beautiful!! It look like I using super Nintendo video game called "Lester" or "Super Mario world" walking cave and bat flying etc. I am very jealous so bad LOVE this! ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!!!!!
Thank you for filming this! I went to Mammoth several times when I was younger, but my physical condition keeps me from returning. It’s very cool to be able to see it again!
So glad you enjoyed!!!!
When I was a boy scout I always loved to go on the over night trip to Mammoth caves, It was always my favorite camp out even though I am very claustrophobic. Very cool to see its still very fascinating to look at.
Love that! Glad the video brought back good memories.
Very nice

Thank you; this was great! Have you been to Luray Caverns in Virginia? I think the size of this cave system is mind boggling and the formations at Luray are spectacular. Both are awesome but very different experiences. Looking forward to more from you!
No I have not. But I’m definitely going to add it on my list!
Nice walking tour😃
Thank you so much for going on the tour with us

Next time Ravisha!
bro when you come to the UK we have the same thing but u gotta be fit, check out Wookey hole u will love it bud, it's been at least 25 years since I have last done it.
I will - thx for the tip!
I'm a Mammoth Caver and my mentor's father, Oliver Craig Wells, was a pioneer cave diver at Wookey Hole in 1955. I've been there and it's a wonderful cave. I'm from Kentucky, but as an Anglophile, if I ever moved to GB I know exactly where I'd want to live, in your beautiful Mendip Hills, one of the world's karst landscape treasures, just like our Mammoth Cave area. There were areas in Somerset that are indistinguishable at first glance from the limestone uplands of south Central Kentucky (except for the sheep to dairy cattle ratio, of course, which gives the game away)!
Been awhile since I've been down there but I see it hasn't changed much 😂🤣
Things will pretty much stay the same for awhile I’d say :)
Me too. I was expecting to see condos and a shopping mall, but I guess they don't have any investors, lol.
Nothing has changed in the 30 years since I went in.
No wonder they call it Mammoth Cave
Is the majority of this tour crouching? My 14 year old is 5 foot 6, and I'm worried about her crouching for the entire thing.
Not much is crouching. There are more complex tours where you crouch and crawl and scramble - but the core tours are almost no crouching at all
Anyone experience any claustrophobia in there? I want to go but am afraid I will panic.
Well - I’ve been a few times and not observed anyone having issues - and the initial cavern is very very big - so maybe if you go you could just go down and experience that big first chamber - it’s as big as a shopping mall.
Great video. I WAS feeling claustrophobic just watching the video. 😳😊 Thanks for giving us such a great view of the tour. Really helped me with planning and stuff. We may be going at the end of October this year.
Hey! Just a follow up that I did not feel claustrophobic and it was such an amazing experience. The tour was worth it and the gift shops were great too!
