This mv makes me feel weird, probably because the things he sings about and the struggles you see are about a subject not many talk about in my culture but this song goes so deep for me. I really like the lyrics and the instrumental. The whole thing portraits pure love and it absolutely gives me chills and comforts me at the same time. I come back to this song once in a while because it has something which other songs don't have.
For me, Giriboy was just one of those artists you're familiar with, but don't actually listen to. This is my first real time listening to him outside of TV (and trust he's been on more than smtm3), and I'm not disappointed. If more of his songs have lyrics this good, let me know.
Special (both original and GRBoy remix), Different Feat. Crucial Star, You're a Chemical Feat. Beenzino and My Body's On Fire are my favorite from him. Also, if you haven't listened to him, I highly recommend Crucial Star as well.

I think it is portraying well how mixed his feeling is. he is telling her that he will protect her no matter what when he is also feeling mad about how he can only help her when she is alone instead of infront of all these guys trying to hurt her which is the time she needs help the most. really nicely made 기리보이 파이팅!

And the way he sings just makes it sound like a casual promise he's making to the girl he loves, like he's always going to be there to protect her no matter what.

Such a beautiful song. What I love most about Giriboy's music is that it's not limited to one genre, his inspiration ranges from hip hop to english indie rock and when you listen to his songs, each tells a different story. Looking forward to his upcoming album!

I cried so much listening to this song. The story that tells is so touching, and so is the will of the boy to protect the girl that Giriboy express in the song.
Been loving this since I discovered it. On an emotional level, Giriboy has touched my soul. On an intellectual level, I am blown away how layered the message is in the simplicity of the music and the visual. How it both begins: single instrument and a monochromatic visual-- says how simply the story starts, perhaps love or sincerity, then it becomes complex. The feelings of wanting good things and being angry and not understanding despite wanting to. The angry rap verses giving way to emotional wishful but helpless chorus is breathtaking. The theme about sex work is really dark and the visual interpretation is the same. I keep thinking the ink is a representation of the sin or at least the perception of it that Giriboy wants to wash away, but then it can also be ink and oil and this means eventual and absolute disparity. My soul is really crushed by this and I comeback hopeful every time, just to be heartbroken by the time it ends. Amazing work, Girboy! Love you to death.

Looking at the date, this was released at the time in my life that I had some struggles.... Been loving this since I discovered it. On an emotional level, Giriboy has touched my soul. On an intellectual level, I am blown away how layered the message is in the simplicity of the music and the visual. How it both begins: single instrument and a monochromatic visual-- says how simply the story starts, perhaps love or sincerity, then it becomes complex. The feelings of wanting good things and being angry and not understanding despite wanting to. The angry rap verses giving way to emotional wishful but helpless chorus is breathtaking. The theme about sex work is really dark and the visual interpretation is the same. I keep thinking the ink is a representation of the sin or at least the perception of it that Giriboy wants to wash away, but then it can also be ink and oil and this means eventual and absolute disparity. My soul is really crushed by this and I comeback hopeful every time, just to be heartbroken by the time it ends. Amazing work, Girboy! Love you to death.
