I absolutely love these houses with the triangular roofs and these colour scheme. You did really well, and I don’t regret finding your channel.
For your first cottage house, it flows rly well. The colour scheme is very warm and the woods make it more cozy. The structural detail is honestly rly hard to do but you seem to have pulled it off! Also, if you'd like darker colours I typically use the metal texture as it makes the colours darker than they actually are. The roof would probably be more accurate if you made a custom roof but that takes quite a bit of time (and money) so it makes sense that you didn't make one. Thanks for the custom carpet tutorial, super helpful and to the point (timestamp for the custom carpet is 9:59).

something i do to make round arcs, is use the round/curved roof, resize it to be smaller than the roof you actually want to see and it works perfectly.. just make sure the curved sides don’t poke out.

i had a hack you shouldve tried fo rthe circle roof thing , Get two basic shapes both circles, put the arch in the spot you want it and put the other circle over it, color the arch brown like wood and the second circle like the roof so it looks like one

I'm a new subscriber, and i know you'll most likely not see my comment, but your videos are very inspiring, and they actually give me an idea on how too build, cause you see, i do not know how too build to save my life. So, here's an idea, you should make a discord server and make it like a bloxsburg school, where builders and people who want to learn how to build join, and people can send in tips, ideas, pictures of they're builds, ask questions about like "hey, should i go with this color or this color"?, stuff like that! And, people can also teach others how to build and or decorate. Whoever helps whom, they can make the idea their own way. But of course, this is only an idea, love your videos!!

a thing you can do when your roof is not facing the way you want it to you can press r before placing it and it will rotate!
