Humbly, any house related media you have, put it here. It is part of the journey. The struggle for time is a constant for everyone. It is woodwork adjacent. Love ya
Fantastic news on the new place. It looks like a real opportunity to make it your own. I wouldn't worry about having home renovation stuff alongside your woodworking content - it's all relatable, and you'll find that most of your audience is watching because of you and not the wood.
Best of luck with the new place, Dean! An old professor of mine used to say, "bet on change; 99% of the time, you'll be right." Change is good. It's just work.
Dean, just do what you can do comfortably, I for one will be interested in your progress and wish all the luck in the world with this fantastic new project. Just make sure you look after yourselves.
You have the basis for a really lovely home there Dean. Look forward to seeing it develop, the larger garden workshop can come along later. Take care stay safe and good health sir💪👍
Good luck Dean. Hopefully you will get some help from friends, family, sponsors, youtube friends. Fingers crossed you will not find any more hidden problems. Looks like the previous owners did not do a great job.
Good luck with it all. Well done for getting the place and getting cracking in it. Definitely some scope for sponsorship on a few things there! Milk it for all it's worth! Stay safe and don't overwork yourself or the good lady.
Looks like a lot of work but I’m very selfishly looking forward to all the content that comes from it! 100% mix in the renovation content, I saw another comment state it is woodwork adjacent and I agree!
You have one hell of a challenge ahead of you, Dean. I assume from the comments that you were in rented accommodation before? It will be interesting to follow your journey
😃 Exciting times Dean 😃. Hope the workshop is going to take top priority 🤣🤣. Take it easy mate, please don't knock yourself out. Well done and good luck with the new pad 😃👍
Hi Dean, a new place now the fun begins............ happy for you and your new home and with a garage that's a good start, It dose take time so don't rush it will all fall in to place, the most important this is look after your self if it takes weeks or a few months so be it. Good luck with your renovations and I'll catch you soon Take care Mate👍👍
Congrats on the purchase Dean. Just remember Rome wasn't built in a day mate. Little steps and don't let it stress you out. Stress is my issue and it can really make you ill. ...I know..🥺🥺..but hey ho we live to fight another day and no doubt you will too..👍👍👍🍻🍻🍷
Wow Dean! That’s amazing news. 👍🏼 Congratulations on the new home, you’ve really taken on a lot there mate, make sure you look after yourself too. Best of luck.
I think you might need to grt a new garden door! I hope uou don't get problems with mice (like we did😮). All the best with your new place. Whew, you have your work cut out! Exciting to be able to put your iwn stamp on everything!😊
Great news Dean, we did much of the same 6 years ago it was s a lot of work but worth it in the end once you get the kitchen and bathroom done the rest will be easier. take care and greetings from Canada
Good luck Dean, looking forward to the workshop build!! Another chap who works out of a single garage is the South African bloke! He really maximises his space too! (Woodshop Junkies) again all the best!
Congrats Dean! It sounds exciting! Although I did wonder why you bought the place after listening to all the problems you have to fix. I hope everything goes well!
Best of luck with new home I would like to see your journey doing your house and workshop . If I lived nearer I would come help you I think your Norfolk area though . Take care
Having recently purchased a house of a similar age to yours I'm excited for you and at the prospect of watching your adventure unfold. I wish you and yours all the best in your new home!
Ooooooh.. Renos... Enjoy that Rabbit hole, we are ten years into doing our place up and everytime you think that you are on top of things, something else pops up🤣Just try and not break yourself!
I wonder how you can do this all with a bad back ? I got one that is shot and can only do little crap things or need to lay down with Tradonal in my gut , keep it safe man you only got one . 😉😉👍👍
With great difficulty to be honest! What you don’t see on RUclips is the recovery from a from hours doing something, and the embarrassment from needing my wife to help me get to the bathroom or moving in general. Plus living with it for 20+ years means I have a massive pain tolerance - until my body passes out, literally. Needs must and I’ll always do everything I can to do something instead of nothing, much to my detriment a lot of the time unfortunately.
For what it’s worth, don’t sweat the channel, if you need to focus on other things, we’ll be here when you get back.

Don't overdo it mate, look after yourself, but I see the urgency. If there is anything a Suffolk resident can do for you, just ask.

Good luck mate! If you wind up getting the garage roof replaced is there any scope for either raising it or going with a gable for overhead storage?
Good on you . Hope you pull it off. Is there anyway social service can help you get it done?
No, we'll be doing it all ourselves. No choice but to pull it off, we'll have to move in in only a few weeks!
@@WoodworkJourney same has me but I got a 4 bed room house. Earthquake damaged but just liveable.
