    Thank you, Peter! For me you are one of the best concrete sculptors ❤. The making of this sculpture gives me valuable hints how to approach my ideas...

    Hahaha, I bet so excited watching this process - do you ever tint your lacquer?

    Hi, Thank you for the videos! What is the cement mixture? Is it just pure cement and glue? What is the purpose of the glue?

    • @ThePeterZaytsev
      @ThePeterZaytsev  4 года назад +2

      Thanks, Rafael! Yes, only cement, white glue and water. White glue make it a little less fragile.

      @@ThePeterZaytsev ok. Why do you use silicon instead of latex and why plaster instead of sealing foam.
      I am in my learning stage and trying to find out as much s possible before i start. The modelling clay that you use is it hard, medium or soft?
      I have a plan to make my sculptures wich i make in polymerclay together with cement. Either as a stand or as a sculpture itself in cement.
      Have you made any outdoor statues?

      @@ulrikawemmenlind1620 I don't have experience in latex, so I don't know is it possible to use it instead of silicone. And I can't say anything about sealing foam - again no experience.
      I use medium clay.
      No outdoor statues yet.

    Is gypsum the same as concrete?

    I’ve been loving these videos! I am going to try to make a concrete fingerboard obstacle. What kind of sandpaper do you use when correcting small imperfections? Tryin to keep a smooth finish. Also, what lacquer/polish do you use?

    • @ThePeterZaytsev
      @ThePeterZaytsev  4 года назад +1

      Thanks! I use fine sandpaper for wood and I has some random lacquer. So I am using it. It is called "KO-85 heat resistant". Good luck!!

    "Creating a mold for concrete" would be a better title even though your title is technically correct. If you mix the concrete perfectly you could actually Use it to Sculpt. But I want to see someone actually use concrete to sculpt. Which is possible.
