The planning application for this is 359,000 pages long, and has cost £300m so far. That's more than it cost Norway to plan and *build* the world's longest road tunnel (Lærdal). Britain's planning system is a sick joke.

@@tomcarr1358 not really answering their question at all, no info on any such timescale of works is relevant until the scheme gains its DCO (development consent order) from the transport secretary, deadline for this is 4th Oct 2024

It hasn't even been approved yet.
All that money being spent on preparation for this tunnel and this is the best CGI you can get?
