Seriously tho, it's a rough life especially if you've grown up to or around it. When these artists rap about drugs, cash money, and bitches. That's all we want to have and be wanted and or popular. We wonder why we grow up the way and how we did because it's on the news, video games, people, places, and things. Yes, I just quoted NA/AA. I'm trying to get my life together but it's extremely difficult on my own and nobody to help you even if your so desperate, hopeless, and careless. I'm starting to lose any faith that I had and my own flesh and blood won't even help me thru this chaotic crisis I'm currently in. I'm SO tired of living like I been since I've lost my boyfriend of almost eight years. I'm still wondering why god if he's out there then why'd you take him instead of me. Like, I've done such unheard of shit towards my self and others, I just don't understand why him since he was a saint and life saver. May god bless me with safety, happiness, end poverty, and have enough strength and will power to beat this addiction before it beats me. Please if your reading this than comment and lettme vent and have others make sure I'm not alone.

Most if not all make the choice to be in those street not because it's their only option but because it's what they feel is the easier option. The others can argue that its because their family was in it so it's all they know or it was a revenge thing that lead them into it but they can never really say they had no choice unless someone put a gun to their head or something along those lines. They listen to these rappers say they had no choice and they run with it but greed follows most of the rappers excuses as well. Most of us in this day and age had two options, either fight for yourself or fight for your legacy. Your legacy won't last very long if you set its path in the streets

@@dylanc2516 one friend was with me chasing females up until he shot at someone for the first time and joined the family business immediately after. No they didn't force him far as I know but nothing tells a kid this is the thing to do like having the whole family do it. At some point in the older parents life I'm sure they had moments where they say they need to get out yet they don't raise their kids not to make that mistake either because they do not feel they made a mistake or they feel they have no choice but to stay. What makes them feel they have no choice? Either they feel they are in to deep or they feel they are not deep enough. Some rappers have made the decision to stop that life with hardly know issue because they got the money they wanted. That mean they stayed in out of greed. If they did not stay out of greed then why did they not use their come up to make better and safer opportunities for their kids and their kids peers? Its because either theg don't regret what they did or they were only thinking of themselves and their own personal gain so it didn't matter. When you simplify that it basically says that either they did what they did because it was the easier option or they did what they did because they just didn't care enough to do better meaning they were operating in a selfish mindset. Half if not most of most of our men are influenced to dab into that lifestyle at some point in their life yet how many success stories do we have and what percentage of the population are they? Matter of fact let's look at the black community period from the time that lifestyle really became a thing. Have we gotten better as a community or have we gotten worse. A small percentage will say that they don't know about everyone else but they are good. Can that small percentage win the war along? I think we both can agree that we can't so that will mean their legacy will not survive. Either their legacy will be taken over by as another race or it will be wiped out unless we stop operating out of a selfish mindset.
