Crazy thing is that his grandfather was a great evasive fighter who then took the opponent down when they were tired. Notice in 2:10 on onwards, his opponent was getting very tired. Makes me think he was too heavy for the fight with all that muscle mass. But, regardless, he was tired, this is when Ali would shine. But if he keeps going in too much, he won't have that same stamina to do the same damage his grandfather was able to do. He has to be patient and less anxious to win so fast.
This was actually really refreshing to watch as both really fought with what they had! Close fight but the right winner was chosen.

It was a good close fight. No shame in a close loss. Nico showed a good chin,composure and made great adjustments. He just didn’t do enough to make it decisive.

i don't think he looked "great" either, but this was probably his best performance so far considering he took a step up in competition too. his skills looked a bit more refined than his previous matches.
he didn't look too overwhelmed in this 3 minute clip, despite taking too many unnecessary shots that could've been dodged.
seemed more like a split decision than a majority as well.
footwork and head movement could improve. hopefully he can become better at utilizing the jab to open up his power punches.

Nico is a good fighter, but he can be amazing. He really needs to work on his defense and play the distance. He needs to find a good coach in that department. Overall, he has a lot of potential to become a legit title contender.
He has all the best coaches in the world and he has promoters that want to make something out of him, he has all the privileges that a fighter could dream of making it to the spotlight, only time will tell if he can take advantage of those privileges.

This was a good fight and Ali should be proud to have gone the distance with a tough opponent. He has been protected a bit through his career with less skilled matchups, so this is how he will go to the next level by fighting through it. He will be back stronger than ever.
I think it’s interesting to see how nico will come back from this loss. He’s not a natural talent, but has a fighter in him. I can sense that. First he needs to work on power and footwork and he’ll be all right.

He’s still learning.. I wouldn’t write him off yet, he’s a good combo puncher and has excellent flow with punches especially in comparison to his opponent. Let him get stronger and develop better defense, head movement plus the ability to counter and better timing, he’ll be a threat. There’s definitely a lot of potential there tbh
