I'm flying London to Abbotsford (an hour from Vancouver) on the 9th of Feb. I got a return fare of $93. Haven't opted for a separate carry-on or checked baggage. This was a good watch.
Please leave the mirror at home! Your air bnb will have a mirror. Or take a travel size one that will fit in a baggie to contain all the broken pieces you will likely have. It's just not worth the hassle.
Hello there! :) great video! i’m flying from PVR (puerto Vallarta) to Hamilton, next week. I was just wondering if you could please tell me if I could bring (as a Personal item-free) a BACKPACK that’s not so big nor heavy. There Ill put one jacket, two books and some other personal stuff. But it’s not like its a big backpack. Do you know if they’re picky while checking the personal item? Also.. im not quite sure about the best way to arrive Downtown Toronto from Hamilton Airport. Which via would you recommend? And how much is it? 🧐😯 YOU’d help me a lot. Thank u.
Hello! Thanks for your comment! The brand is Kenneth Cole "Reaction Laptop/Tablet Backpack" in the card that comes in the bag it says "ACI brands Inc www.acibrands.com".
Hi there! Would like to share to you the bag I am currently using for travels from Nomad Lane. It can also fit 4 days things inside. You would love it too.
LUGGAGE TIP: Tie two or three colored ribbons of different lengths around the handle to your luggage to warn others that this is not their luggage. People grab luggage at the turnstile and take it home before you ever see it. Use a man’s “half windsor” knot for the best look. Anywhere you put your bag, it could be grabbed in error. Example: overhead compartment, unloaded from the bus, at the hotel lobby, turnstile........ Use 3/4” wide ribbons about 12-14” long. Cut the ends at 45 degrees then seal the end with one drop of Super Glue to prevent fraying. If each ribbon is slightly a different length by 1/2” or so, they will all show no matter what. Tie the 3 ribbons as if it were one ribbon using a half Windsor knot. After it is tied on, the total length of the ribbons will be about 5-6” from the handle. A little longer ribbon shows up better. You can see it from 40 feet away. Perhaps tie two handles, top and side of case. Put your phone number on one ribbon using a permanent Sharpie. Choose one ribbon to have an unusual pattern or fabric to really make it unique. Lay all 3 ribbons on top of one another. Then tie them with a half Windsor knot, same as a man uses. Stand by the output hole of the turnstile to reduce the chance of someone else grabbing the piece. Tie your skiies, duffel bag, and what ever with matching ribbons-even your computer case. If you are a Travel Agent, you could gold stamp one ribbon with your name and phone number. Then send a set of ribbons, red and blue and black to your customer as a gift. Record this gift in your database so you don’t duplicate yourself. Buy a gold hot embossing machine. Gold emboss your business name on the black ribbon. If there is a way to put the customer’s name on it, do that.
I’m going to Vegas next week and I’m flying with a child and his sporting equipment.... anything I can’t fit in our personal item bag is going in the equipment bag
Hi! The brand is "Kenneth Cole Reaction laptop/tablet backpack". I think the backpack I have is now an older style, but it looks they still have pretty similar bags available.
I've never had mine confiscated! The CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authoriy) website says its razors with blades over 6cm long must be in checked luggage.
Hi - I looked for a link but couldn't find one. Winners doesnt list their products online because each store receives different inventory. The brand though is 'kenneth cole' and the back of the tag also said "ACI" brands
This is the closest I could find, but it's not the exact same www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B071HLJ3G3/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It doesn't have the phone charger port which to be fully honest I find quite slow to charge my phone anyway. Hope that helps!
Hey thanks for this! I heard you got it at Winners, could you share the brand of that backpack? My trip is in April and with store closures, I need to start finding it early on
Hello! Thanks for your comment! The brand is Kenneth Cole "Reaction Laptop/Tablet Backpack" in the card that comes in the bag it says "ACI brands Inc www.acibrands.com". Hopefully that helps, and I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip!
I hope you covered the toothbrush as putting it with your razor and comb is unhygienic yuck! all countries make you put liquids in a clear resealable bag 20cmx20cm and no item can be about 100ml and you can't have any more than 1 litre total and they must fit comfortably in the bag ...Rolling neatly and tightly prevents wrinkles, i bet your clothes looked like old rags by the time you got there, the way you rolled them especially the yellow skirt gave me anxiety LOL
Thanks for your concern, and clarifications about the liquids, Ti Jay! Don't worry, the brush bristles do have a cover on them. Yes, you're right, my clothes did come out wrinkly after the trip (although I wouldn't say that turned the material to rags) but fortunately most air BnB's and hotels provide an iron... I didn't use it though :)
@@Kisskers The term rags was obviously a saying that we use in the UK! that if a fabric is wrinkled up that it looks like old rags not that it is tattered and torn as that is clearly impossible Lol!!! If you take a minute longer each item to roll them tightly and neatly after folding them using natural seams in the garment then they don't crease hardly at all... To prevent the creasing in the first place you spin at a slower speed and take them from the washing machine immediately the cycle stops and pull to shape and hang on a hanger to dry naturally or if you can dry in the tumble dryer then don't wait for the cold bit at the end of the cycle, stop the dryer and take them out when they are still warm and lay them flat or hang them immediately as you can wear most of the items without needing to iron them ...
I'm going on a trip to Vegas next week and this video is still helpful even 3 years later so thank you for doing this!!
Best personal item video
You did a fantastic packing job! I am going to try and mimic this!

You're right, this is a great tip! A smaller compact mirror or one that can snap shut would be better!
Your intro and outro is pretty sweet. Also video is spot on, not any loss time and your presentation is very professional. Keep up:)
Thank you so much! I'm just a 'hobby vlogger' -still lots to learn, so I really appreciate your kind encouragement :)

They won't let you take a razor on hand luggage?
I've never had mine confiscated! The CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authoriy) website says its razors with blades over 6cm long must be in checked luggage.
Love the bag, I hope I can find! Did you have any issues either way with them checking your personal item?
Hi! No I did not have any issues - they did not ask to put it in the sizer and the backpack fit really easily in the space under the seat.
Where’d you find the bookbag?
At Winners! (also same company as Marshall's)
Any chance of a link to the bag you got?
