It was understandable as he was the prince but I love how open, vulnerable and joyful, Henry was after they bonded. We could see the adorable person that he is after all the pretense faded away.

Oh my gosh yes. See what their life is like a couple years down the line. Had Henry’s brother turned his back on him? Is Alex president or similar? Do they have kids? Are they even married yet? What’s the next turn?
Normally these romance movies are so so corny especially Hallmark and even when there are talented actors, the dialogue is so bad that it's difficult to sit through. Over the years, I have found myself watching more and more LGBQT movies because they are often so well scripted, acted and all round great production. This one, while having a few elements of the soapy love stories (the wedding cake fiasco was a little trite), overall this was very well done. The leads have wonderful chemistry and the plot (difficulties of a royal marrying outside the blue gene pool not to mention being gay) was totally believable. The transitions didn't feel rushed and while I don't believe I will see a gay prince come out in my lifetime, it was delightful to watch it on film and to root for the future. A sequel wouldn't hurt.

Sorry for your loss. My rope broke 35 years ago when my boyfriend was murdered and I survived a brutal homophobic attack. You never forget the loved one you lost, no matter if natural causes, or tragic means. 35 years later I still mourn that the rope was broken, and never found a replacement. I have Post-series Depression after watching RWRB. Read the book right after. Listened to the 10-hr audiobook. Rewatched the movie. So invested that I downloaded all the soundtracks from the movie. I just discovered that Nicholas (Henry) sings! I don’t see an end pretty soon so…

Their love story is epic. I’ve been watching this movie almost everyday.
Normally these romance movies are so so corny especially Hallmark and even when there are talented actors, the dialogue is so bad that it's difficult to sit through. Over the years, I have found myself watching more and more LGBQT movies because they are often so well scripted, acted and all round great production. This one, while having a few elements of the soapy love stories (the wedding cake fiasco was a little trite), overall this was very well done. The leads have wonderful chemistry and the plot (difficulties of a royal marrying outside the blue gene pool not to mention being gay) was totally believable. The transitions didn't feel rushed and while I don't believe I will see a gay prince come out in my lifetime, it was delightful to watch it on film and to root for the future. A sequel wouldn't hurt.

I have Post-series Depression after watching RWRB. Read the book right after. Listened to the 10-hr audiobook. Rewatched the movie. So invested that I downloaded all the soundtracks from the movie. I just discovered that Nicholas (Henry) sings! I don’t see an end pretty soon so…
