nice vid! saw your post on the z900 forum. My bike is stock but I have always ran kn filters in most of my bikes, What is that aftermarket filter you are using? notice any power?
OneOfTheNobodies personal preference really. I like being able to change it myself whenever I want. I also like that I can turn it off and go back to stock without needing any other help. I am not trying to squeeze out very last HP out of the bike either. It’s plenty fast. But after changing the exhaust, it was running way too rich. The PCV allows me to change the mapping any way I want so its perfect for me.
@@AverageCarGuy I got mine professionally tuned so I got a custom tune for my specific bike and my goal was not to squise HK but to make the bike run as good as possibal, huge diffrence and now it just extra smooth and nice to run :) .. I wont be changing tunes so flash was right for me .. all in all z900 are a monster of a bike ! :D
I also want to install full system sc project ,power commander 5, k&n air filter ..what else i can do to get more power .what r ur modifications on z900 kindly reply
Gurcharan Singh I don’t think there’s much more you can do easily. Of course you can buy a supercharger, bore out the cylinders and that sort of thing. But I find with my current setup the bike is plenty fast. My focus would be to improve suspension at the point, upgrade the tires and possibly even the brakes. Power is only 1/4 of the fast bike formula.
Hi there! Is it possible to make a video how the sound is after replacing the filter. Do the replacement of the filter make a difference in the sound of the bike? I'm also a owner of a Z900 build 2017. I am dissatisfied with the noise produced by the engine. People around me indicate that adjusting the filter can sometimes make a difference. Tnx!
w1zz88 the difference is not really noticeable. I have a full exhaust installed now so I can’t really do before/after video on filters but if you want better sound, the filter won’t do anything noticeable. On this bike, even replacing the muffler won’t do much, because most of the sound suppression is built into the exhaust (that big breadbox under the bike.)

All them screws arnt just to hold the cover on. It also completely seals the filter from any dust desides what gets sucked in from the air induction.

Mike E DNA filter. I couldn’t tell you for sure if I have noticed any power. Too many changes to the bike to tell. My guess is no. But maybe.
Why did you choose the powercommander and not a ecu flash ``? ...
