Doooood!!!!!! That was freaking intense!!!!! It's just nice to let loose on those tunes and just beat the crap outta stuff!!!! You accomplished that!!!!! Just love seeing you smack those cymbals and skins like there's no way they'll ever break. Yeah, you brought a huge elevated feel to this song!!!! I'm digging the power you're laying down brother!!!!! ❤😊
Idk what to say... Steven Alder should be so proud. I've always thought AFD was my drum lesson. It's so good Trey... You look in phenomenal shape... remember... snortin' Whiskey,(the bell is up??) and don't forget if you do COC White Noise I'll stop bothering u
If you stop bothering me, I'll find your ass and say "YOU BETTER START BOTHERING ME DUDE!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You NEVER bother me. You are my walking Spotify suggestor bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Awww man........thank you for that amazingly kind comment and thank you for watching 🙏🙏🤘🤘. I haven't done a lot of Adler GNR covers so I had to go through this one a time or two. Can't use that left foot LOL! He was a single kick, power and drive drummer. He played everything exactly the way it needed to be played on this album
Somebody’s been lifting weights🏋🏼 and running on the beach ☀️🏃🏻⛱chasing those young women👱🏼♀️👩in their bikinis.👙 Looking AND sounding awesome Trey! 🍺❤️🔥
LOL! Ya know, I don't know a great deal about Frank and I should know a little. I followed them the most probably during the Sorum years but their drummer to me has always been Steven Adler. That line up ot them live at The Ritz is GNR to me. I am also old so me thinkin' that's the lineup is probably to be expected 🤣🤣🤣🤣 For real - thank you for watching. Thanks very much
Trey! What’s up, brother! When you play any song, you always make it look “so f’n easy!” You were really feeling this song, like you had an “appetite for destruction” & it appears you satisfied that hunger after playing this song! Well done! Hoping to hear you play “Mr Brownstone” sometime. I know you’ve done a few GNR songs, but I can’t remember which ones. 🤔 Hope you’re doing well, brother! Take care! 🤘🥁😎🥁🤘
One of my favorite GNR songs 🤘🏼 Drum part is super fun, riffs are sick, solos are sick, and Axl sings in his lower register as well as his higher one. One of the bounciest tracks, maybe aside from Anything Goes 🥁🔥
Dat is what Willis was talkin' about! For real, thank you for the kind words and I couldn't mean it more. Mostly, thanks for watching even once let alone twice! 🙏🙏
Man, I miss that raw aggression that you captured so effortlessly. I'll never forget the first time I heard Welcome to the Jungle and immediately knew I had to have the album. Great memories and you absolutely killed it!
This one (Appetite) was that eye opener for me because there was shit like Whitesnake, Poison and all that stuff. I like Whitesnake and a lot of that shit but this was the bridge between the extreme hair phase and where things were going. This was raw as fuck and just ready to roll. They looked and sounded so fucking cool at that time
Man, Steve Adler may have been smoking heroin and sniffing coke out of somebody's butthole but he laid down some really cool f*cking tracks on this. He truly did. Rocket Queen is another one where he just played exactly what the song needed
Wow, this sounds incredible. I've been listening to this album since it came out and that's the closest I've heard to the intensity and feel of the original.
That means a lot more than you know if that's what you heard. I'll never win any chop contests but I do try my damn best to play for a song and what you just said - that's high praise to me ❤❤ Thank you my friend!
@@TreyBDrums It was excellent man. True to the heart like the original. And you got some great chops, but what's more important is that you have that rock n roll guns n roses feel, and that is hard to get. I've been listening to 80's metal....well....since the 80's...hahaha, and this is top notch.

😂😂😂😂 Well, I agree - that powder does smell good LOL!!! But, my 8 ball days came to a close a while back. That does NOT mean that I can sit here and say I was young and stupid. I just kept running out 🤣🤣

@@teeoh9192 🤣🤣. Man, the angle must help because I'm - at best - 145 lbs. I'm a pretty small dude. BUT, I greatly appreciate the kind words! I do love the gym and trying to eat right / stay in half ass shape
That was intense! Wonderful playing on a great song! Loved how smooth the cymbal choke followed by the left hand crash was before every chorus! One of a hundred nice touches you provided!
What up my friend? I need to go back and look at some live clips. I'm not sure if Adler is doing a choke or if he just smashes the cymbal and moves to the cowbell.........now you got me curious! Those chokes come after so, so many f*ck ups 🤣🤣. I have cut my hand on cracked cymbals, caught 'em the wrong way, jammed fingers - they are the product of a fair number of trial and error situations. BUT, the chokes help me on the mixing side. Cuts that cymbal bleed on transitions.
@@TreyBDrums Your response made me curious too. From what I can determine based on a few videos, both Adler and later Sorum used a china instead of a crash with a choke. With that said, your playing was objectively cooler to watch, and sonically, I prefer it to Adler's choice.
Got rid of it yesterday 😢😢😢 My mullet management time was not what it needed to be to truly maintain that look. I was actually sad this morning in the shower 🤣🤣
Goddamn Steven Adler was awesome. One of the grooviest drummers in hard rock history. I absolutely love this track and the beginning is surprisingly tough to nail correctly. Good job my man. Love the energy, and how you beat those drums as if they slept with your wife.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've heard "beat 'em like they owed you money" but beating them as if they fucked my wife is fantastic 😂😂😂😂 And I don't even have a wife LOL! Agree on Adler - CRIMINALLY underrated and there wasn't another drummer that could have done this iconic album. He did his thing. He may have been on coke and heroin when he did - don't care. @@TreyBDrums Glad that you liked my analogy, LOL, feel free to use it, I claim no copyright, haha! As for Adler, as I once read re: his impact on Appetite : 20% of the band, 40% of the sound.
