ABOUT TURER FARM
Bringing you sourdough education, premium beef and farm goods from the coastal countryside of rural Nova Scotia
In 2017 our family moved to a few acres of land on the coast of Nova Scotia with no real intention to farm, but with a backseat interest of being self sustainable. Fast forward several years and many growing pains, we now operate on over 300 acres of vast wood and pasture land, with a growing operation of premium cattle and sourdough education.

I tried this, spread it as thin as I could, and placed it in my oven to dry away from dust and flies. It would have worked well except for the mold that formed during drying.
The next method I tried was to mix 100 grams of flour into 25 grams of my starter, which made it very dry. To re-activate I will add 100 grams of water which will bring it back into balance at 100% hydration. Hopefully, it will go as well as I expect.
I think I would prefer your method, if I could avoid the mold.
if you had a crank handle palette knife it would be easier.
