The avaricious, misers in life
Now condemned to eternal strife
The prodigal, wasteful and vain
In Hell, they push and strain
The weights they push, the burdens bear
Reflect the sins that brought them there
Greed and wastefulness, hand in hand
In the fourth circle's forsaken land
The fourth circle's lesson, a warning knell
Balance in life, or face this Hell
Greed and waste, both lead astray
