She was mentally ill, she was committed to an Asylum in 1919 and spent the rest of her life in an institution. She died in 1970. Her daughter died aged 11 in 1924.
When I heard about her great great grandmother Maud, I wondered what really happened. Could her husband, who she took to court, have committed her? The picture didn't look like a mentally unwell person. Just curious really.

How sad, but I think I found her on ancestry and it says she abounded the family in 1919. She died in 197p I think. @@nicolad8822
