    Just another little pop masterpiece. Like cotton candy. The production is minimal, but sumptuous at the same time. The dancers were steller. Dimash blended right in quite naturally. His vocal is so instintual and brilliant. His delivery and use of choice registers is just beyond anybody else. Dimash touches you. Some people are uncomfortable with it. Not me! 😂

    I love when people who really understand music analyse his pop songs as they always realise that it's never just a "simple pop song" when Dimash does it. He always turns it around or adds something unexpected.
    People who don't understand just dismiss his pop work because it doesn't have the vocal acrobatics.
    Btw it's the Todes Ballet dancing with him, in an interview backstage he was asked if he'd found it difficult dancing with them. Dimash in his usual nonchalant way said "not really, as I didn't move much" 🤣🤣

    I love how the dancers and their interaction with Dimash continually tells the story of the song, which is about conformity versus freedom! And Dimash leaves us in no doubt as to what he believes in..Freedom! The dancers are robotic, conforming, all doing the same thing, sometimes you see them looking at each other, then copying whoever is next to them..the dancing is brilliant. Dimash mostly goes against the flow, moving in the opposite direction or literally rising above them, while his voice also soars freely above them! the only time he sort of conforms to them is when sings "I think about the need for love, everybody needs to be loved" but ultimately all the dancers "die" behind him, their arms raised like gravestones, while he turns his back on them. Brilliant storytelling through choreography! Dimash is a true innovator! Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa

    I think the blonde girl is the choreographer. The dance troupe are the most famous troupe in Russia. They actually taught Dimash how to dance in 2019 and when he has dancers he usually has this group dancing with him. Dimash is a great dancer btw…. You didn’t see much dancing from him here, but react to Give Me YOUR Love (not Give Me Love, which is also a song from that show, that’s brilliant though!!) from his Digital Show in 2021.

    This was premiered in 2021, together with "Stranger" and "Ave Maria", 3 completely different styles, nice answer to his question in "Fly Away", 'you really think you know me?', doubly underlined by the lack of 'firework vocals' in 'Fly Away', and trailed off ending with just beat :))
    All 3 songs relate a bit to the pandemic, this premiere happening when he came back to stage after 1+ years of lockdown and restrictions, "Stranger" speaks of "new chance to know who I am, if I have the strength to begin again", "Ave Maria" brings celestial embrace and encouragement (with drum driven beat) to a world who suffered greatly, and "Fly Away" marks the moment of the pressure lessening, 'all my troubles fly away', and also the temptation to get scared in the face of adversity, 'you said , you said ', but he wants to push through with his career and share his work with his fans, because 'I think about I need to be loved, everybody needs to be loved' :)
    And it`s also about creative freedom and freedom from the uniformization of mentality that technology and social media brings sometimes, 'I see perfect people perfect world, perfect system download, I say now it`s time to break free', and the choreography highlights this meaning, him separating from the dancers and walking freely in a natural pace around the stage, while they move in slow motion, frozen in an unnatural unison.
    Thank you for the reaction and analysis, always great to watch your videos :)

    Dimash sings not only neo-classics, but also pop songs, which, at first glance, seem much simpler and easier. But Dimash makes his pop songs of very high quality. In addition to the music and voice, the meaning and message of the song is very important. Some viewers realized that this song shows the modern world on Earth, where people live in the matrix of globalization. They dress almost the same way, behave almost identically, think almost the same way. The dancers show this well in their crowd dance. They're almost biorobots. Dimash stands apart from the dancers. He dreams of freedom from the system. Listen to the words. He calls his girlfriend to fly with him to freedom. But no one can break out of this world system. Look at the end - the dancers all fall together at the same time, as if someone turned them off. It's a very deep meaning, despite the fact that it's a pop song in the style of Michael Jackson. Many people liked the song. /// Very often, Dimash's fans write in the comments that "Dimash has the gift of filling the whole stage with himself, the dancers only interfere, distract and do not allow you to look at Dimash". I think this song is an exception. Here, song and dance are one, because they tell the same story. Dancing illustrates what Dimash sings about. If you remove the ballet from this song, then only half of it will remain, it will not be clear what Dimash means. Phenomenal Dimash + phenomenal ballet work = phenomenal performance.

  • @hitomiochiai8787
    @hitomiochiai8787 Год назад +2

    Dimash says dancing does not come naturally to him. He must practice a lot to get the choreography down, so i dont think he has a hand in that. But that could also be him being his humble self.
