I completely agree with you🤓 It’s very hard to judge projection in a perfume because it really depends on so many different factors. Are you wearing the perfume in a very open area or in a small room? Is it windy that day? Are you sweating? So many things can affect the projection😋

Another excellent video, Veronica! I love that you include designer perfumes and more budget friendly options among the niche options. One surprising vanilla cheapie that I recently got and am shocked at its longevity is Pacifica Island Vanilla. I sprayed 3 sprays on myself last night and could still smell it on me 12 hours later. It's not flat on me like Gorgeous Orchid or heavy like the Opium perfumes. I also don't pick up on the vinyl note in Vanilla 28. For 20 bucks I'd say it's great value.

As you're talking about Metallique, I'm remembering the scent memory it gave me the first time I smelled it.. I was right back at my parent's stainless steel sink, washing the silverware in hot soapy water, and it had to be the yellow bottle of Sunlight dish detergent! 🫧 Those foamy bubbles and the slight smell of metal was what I was reminded of! Girl how have I not yet tried Lalique Le Parfum!? 😩😭 ..yes those scented powders!! 🙌🏼 I remember!
This was a great list, so many delicious vanillas to try! 😊 I love how you described Lalibela, your experience is different than mine. I liked it but experienced patchouli in the forefront…still smooth, but enough for me to miss the vanilla as a stand out note. I’m definitely pretty sensitive to patchouli and I haven’t smelled it in awhile. I’m gonna pull it out again soon and see what I get, hopefully more vanilla 😊

@@VeronicaSays hey so I did get more of the vanilla, it’s natural and creamy…very beautiful and I get more brightness from the pinky florals. There’s kind of a tart/fruity moment also. The patchouli still takes over and makes the fragrance feel pretty earthy to me 🫤

Hi Veronica, I love Andalusian soul- such a beautiful scent. I also have and absolutely adore BO le parfum and over red. Le parfum is my absolute favorite but I thoroughly enjoy both. I get the cherry now, I’ve had it for about 10 months but at first I did not. It has definitely become more present as the fragrance has matured and deepened up. I bought a bottle of YSL red when it first came out I liked it. I didn’t love it however, I just took all my fall fragrances out and I think it’s matured a bit and got a little deeper and more elegant so I will be trying it again once the temp cool down in Dallas, I bought a small bottle so it wasn’t a big issue
Vanilla is my favourite scent profile and I love all sorts🌟✨. Andalusian Soul was my first blind buy of 2024, got it for a steal from Maxaroma and it’s 🔥🔥. I’m kicking myself for not picking up Lalibela, it was 40% off last December and I only sampled it after the sale🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. Lalique was very popular during the pandemic, I’ve been always been curious about but scared about the bay leaf 🤔🤔. Taking a break from popular fragrances was awesome👌👌 Stay gorgeous🥰🥰

Hi Veronica, I love Andalusian soul- such a beautiful scent. I also have and absolutely adore BO le parfum and over red. Le parfum is my absolute favorite but I thoroughly enjoy both. I get the cherry now, I’ve had it for about 10 months but at first I did not. It has definitely become more present as the fragrance has matured and deepened up. I bought a bottle of YSL red when it first came out I liked it. I didn’t love it however, I just took all my fall fragrances out and I think it’s matured a bit and got a little deeper and more elegant so I will be trying it again once the temp cool down in Dallas, I bought a small bottle so it wasn’t a big issue

Hi Veronica, Metallique is so beautiful and unique, and so undeservedly underrated. It was one of my first TF perfumes. Melipona is calling me... I just spent a lot on decants, samples and books. There goes my wallet. Vanagloria I have been curious about, but will have to sample. I don't want it to be redundant as I already have BabyC and Rosendo. Great video btw.

You are spot on with your description of Metalique by Tom Ford… I know exactly what you mean, I feel the same way about the metallic cold nature of the fragrance. I purchased mine about a year ago at the cosmetic company store for like 80% off… It was crazy. The lady told me it was being discontinued, but I don’t know. 🤷🏽♀️
