- Join us at Ole Red in Gatlinburg Tn for a lunch review. Ole Red is a very popular place in Gatlinburg TN and this will be the first time we go into it. We can't deny that Ole Red is a expensive place to go eat but we wanted to try it for ourselves. So let's go take a walkthrough at Ole Red and look at the menu and order a couple items for lunch.

I have always had a problem eating at places with live music. I feel like I'm being rude while they're playing their hearts out & I'm just chowing down on my food! Ha Ha. Also I wanna say you two are amazing at handling rude comments. I'd be ready to give them the "what for", but y'all are always polite & classy. I admire that! Can't wait for your next review. 💜

The portion sizes were a really good size but I would have to say the prices are steep. They need to reduce all sandwiches and entrees by 5$. Ty for the great review.😊

One of my favorite channels, thanks for the video! I will steer clear, due to mediocre online reviews and high prices. Just too many other places with good food and much lower prices, to justify those premium $$.

Nice place with good looking grub, good portions, like you said little pricey, but I think it would be fun to try out, like the seating upstairs and the outdoor patio, I could have a beer and chill in those comfy looking chairs. Have a nice holiday weekend and be safe. God bless🇺🇸🫕

The food looked amazing! I live in Tulsa Oklahoma and my cousin used to get her hair done by Blake's Mom in Ada, ok . When Blake got really popular. People started taking dirt from Blake's Mom's house for a souvenir. . Reba played at the Ada, ok. Rodeos. My grandmother & family all lived in Ada..

This place was absolutely gorgeous and huge to boot!! 2 story?? very impressive. I loved the rustic but trendy decor. The prices are outrageous , nearly 20 bucks for a burger??? Maybe come here very seldom for special occasions. not value friendly. But you do get to keep your glasses and have live music which is very nice. I don't eat bologna or catfish. Even though Bobbies platter looked pretty good and fried nicely catfish is a bottom feeder. We grew up eating fish every Friday and it was always haddock or Cod no swamp or river puppies. The best battered fish and chips I ever had was in a nice restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay many years back it was absolutely delicious. Thanks for showing us the diversity of restaurants in the Tennessee area. ❤🙏🏻👍🏻

Thanks again y'all. We've been curious about Big Red's since it opened. We're not big on the live entertainment, and the prices look a little steep from what we usually pay at other places. Good idea about grabbing an appetizer when wanting to drink and being conservative with your money and food choices! I think I might have to try it at least once like Jason Aldean’s!

Hi, I was there this past Wednesday night with my husband and son. The upstairs was closed. We enjoyed our dinner and the singer Sarah Collins, she was very good. I agree it was expensive but we were there on vacation so we expected it to be pricey. But we had a good time which is what we want when we're on vacation.

Ryman Entertainment is just a front for a celebrity to run a business but distance themselves from liability that might arise from such. You might recognize Ryman from the Grand Ole Opry. Might be a wise business decision but leaves a bad taste in my mouth. 🤷♀️

Hi John and Bobbie. I would order those tater tots on the side because they were so crunchy but I would rather have a bigger portion of the slaw and less fries but the food looked very good. The place is very nice inside and the balcony outside too. The price is a bit more to pay but you get live entertainment and a good dining experience. Good place to eat for a special occasion❤️

Brings back memories,was there in 2019 when it first opened,last time I’ve been to smokies,wife was doing way better then now,seems like yesterday in some ways,she likes Blake,we had a good time,a little noisy with the live singing,but we enjoyed it,prices are high,but your paying for the atmosphere and performances

Everything looked really good!!! We never went in there. We came back Thursday from our trip. Had a good time, went to some nice places (even went to Dollywood) & ate at some great places. Ate at Aubrey's and The Local Goat for the first time. The weather was perfect. Didn't rain like it was supposed to but it was hot

The bologna sandwich looked good but I'm not a macaroni and cheese and pork rinds girl. I know other restaurants in the Smokies have smoked bologna. Who would you say has the best smoked bologna sandwich in the Smokies? I would love to see you guys try trotter's smoked bologna sandwich and Puckett's bologna sandwich and pick a best one. I herd the Baht in Gatlinburg is very good as well. I would be curious to see what your thoughts are on it.
My favorite was from Troyer in Ohio. We got it at the factory that made it. It wasn’t smoked but it was just so good. It’s Trail Bologna and it just had a sweet onion on it. We did a video from here it’s in Trail Ohio. If we lived in the Smokies I would try them all. We only go in this area for a few days around 4 or 5 times a year so can’t try them all even though that is a cool idea. Have a great day😎😎

Nice review but to over priced. I might expect those prices in downtown Nashville but not gatlinburg. Glad you enjoyed it.
It is very expensive that’s why we said at the end maybe go in for an appetizer and split it and enjoy the music and atmosphere on a hot day. This is not a place we would go in several times but we did enjoy our visit this day. 😎😎
I really like OLE RED RESTERAUNT AND GIFT SHOP! Blake Shelton is a great singer! The food really looks good. Nachos I would share! Bobbie: that catfish dinner was really delicious I bet! The fries are so good at a resteraunt! The Cole slaw , yum. John: Pig-n-cheese haven't seen bologna for awhile nice to see. Mac n cheese pork rinds. The crispy tots the crisper the better. Love Blake's resteraunt get to hear the new artists like Megan's voice with NO COVER CHARGE THANKS BLAKE!!!! I think having the gift shop as well is a plus!!! Nice outdoor area upstairs!!! I think I would try the chicken salad or the God's Country hamburger steak!! Yes prices are high but that's due to inflation and Blake Dhelton's name think it was worth it.

Blake Shelton isn’t exactly new he’s been around for the last twenty years. But if all you listen to oldies I can understand why you haven’t heard of him. He is probably as popular as Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams. Think those guys.

This is the first review of Ole Red when the food was even decent! Lol. We've been going to Gatlinburg for decades and had by far the worst meal ever at Old Red!!! Great music & atmosphere and fine for music & drinks but do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else. Tom & Earl's is 10 times better and just up the road. (Watch their review!) This was the only place we've ever gone in town where we took a few bites & left. It was just that bad.

We loved the restaurant itself and the atmosphere too but our food was awful. And I mean awful! I thought maybe it was what we ordered but then I read reviews on Yelp & Travel Advisor and the reviews there were terrible and it was only about the food. People know Blake and expected the food to be as good as the restaurant. We felt it's a good place for music and drinks but there are much, much better food options all around Gatlinburg, like Tom & Earl's if you want bar food. We always enjoy your reviews & enjoyed this one too. We love watching you guys.

@@jbinthehills Yeah we loved it. I've always gotten the thick sliced baloney build your own sandwich and Lena has always loved their chili. It's just located way at the end of the alley and I think a lot of people don't even know it's there. Have you guys ever done Boudicca's in the Villages? We've walked by it a hundred times but never eaten there. They've won the Gatlinburger Award a couple of years so it must be pretty good.

Expensive. You kind of contradicted yourself on the pork rinds. If you don’t like something that’s okay.
Pork Rinds are items I don’t eat that often but on these they weren’t half bad but they take the taste of the Bologna away which I love so I would order them without the Pork Rinds. 😎😎
Menu prices high. Local diner has good prices, full plates and can take a family there.

She wasn’t singing when we went in. Wouldn’t have mattered it’s loud in these kind of places and we even have microphones on. Speakers are throughout this place and it gets loud but it is a live entertainment place. We tried our best to be heard.😎😎
