  • My son, Jesse (then 14 in 1999) had an outdoor ed class in high school and was required to do a project and document it for the class final. The goal for his project was to lead and document his first 5.10 trad route at Seneca (Sunshine) under the supervision of his mentor Ben Wyse. He had only been climbing for a little over a year. I shot the video for him with some ancient camera and then he edited with crude editing software. This was one of the first videos he made. He's since gone on to become a professional videographer and inventor of video equipment and lives and climbs in the Bitterroot range of Montana.
