This is such a beautiful piece that I have wanted to learn for the longest time, but there were no useful tutorials really. Now, thanks to your excellent tutorial, it is now within my grasp. So, I thank you for that, Robert.
Wonderful version Mr. Robert Lunn, thank you so much for your work and teaching. If you don't mind, could you make a video lesson of the song "Parazula" by Celso Machado? I really like this song but I can't find any video lessons of it. Thank you very much!
Robert, Sorry for all the text messages but I enjoy my contact with guitar players around the globe. Do you have any plans to convert more hymns to tab form? If so, may I suggest a few songs? I think one of the songs you should consider is the famous There Is A Redeemer by the late Keith Green. This is a perfect song for solo guitar. I have a few others in mind that will surely increase the popularity of your website. You say?
Hi Robert. How are you? My name is Guido. I am 56 (soon to be 57). What is your advice or suggestion in terms of growing old, arthritis pain and fingerstyle guitar? Rick Foster suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome and severe arthritis pain and thus, cannot play as he once did. Don't get me wrong, he is still a decent player but nothing like he was 30, 40 years ago. I suffer from arthritis pain but not severe (for now). You say?
I am sorry you suffer from arthritis pain. I have had hand injuries over the years and one thing I started doing is to practice no more than 20-25 minutes at a time before taking a break. I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
@@RobertLunn : Thank you for the birthday wish. I try practicing as much as possible considering my overnight work schedule and crazy living situation in NYC. You see, I share an apartment with a former museum coworker who simply cannot stand loneliness. We decided to share an apartment to cut down on the cost of living in this insanely expensive city. However, when this guy gets home from work, he knocks on my room door and wants to chat. My guitar time is sacred to me. He doesn't understand how much the guitar means to me. As much as he would like for us to continue sharing an apartment, I cannot do so. Robert, I cannot share an apartment with someone who doesn't respect a simple request: don't bother me when I am playing my songs. You say?
@@RobertLunn : I play a decent guitar but would love to "master" the art of fingerstyle, if that's even possible. At 56 (57 on April 5), I realize that I have more years of life behind me than ahead.
Robert, As I age, it's easy to suffer ridicule from young people who think they are going to live forever. I've noticed that you like wearing Kangol hats. I also wear Kangol hats but people often say that this style of hat makes me look older. I disagree. I am 56 not 26. Secondly, I think my overweight condition is the main reason why I look older than my current age. You say?
@@RobertLunn : I started wearing hats when age stole my hair. I don't worry about the sun burning my head as much as I fear public opinion and ridicule.
Una de las interpretaciones más llenas de chispa que he sentido...el trémolo todo un acierto. BRAVO.
Wonderful! Thank you!

I do plan on doing more hymn arrangements over the summer and I always love suggestions
@@RobertLunn :
Very cool. In that case, I have a small list of hymns and praise songs to select from. I'll keep you posted.
Hey great performance! Do you use nylon strings ?
Thank you! I am using nylon strings
@@RobertLunnDo you think you could do a tutorial on how to do tremolo and exercises to practice it
@@alanalcantara2447 I can certainly do that

How do you do the tremolo section so fast?
I don’t know the answer to that. I recorded that a long time ago and I haven’t played it sense
I wonder what Tarrega would think about tremolo!;)
I also wonder!
What can I do to improve my tremolo sound on the guitar?
For me, practicing the tremolo really helps
Sorry I didn't finish my thought, practicing it slowly

I love the tremolo part on Silent Night by Liona Boyd aka the first lady of the guitar. Do you know Liona Boyd?
What is the difference between this and the other tutorial on this song?
I am not really sure other than this has an added tremolo section
@@RobertLunn thank you!
Alus ...
Вполне возможно что авторство этого этюда принадлежит гитаристу Валерию Агабабову. Без тремоло.
Interesting, I will have to take a look at that

I'm not really sure. I started wearing hats when I began shaving my head. I wear the hats so i don't burn the top of my head when I am outside
