Is it worth changing the pressure switches at 105,000 miles? trying to see if it would bring any performance benefit, already did 3x3 drain and fill of the ATF and transmission filter change.
I haven’t bought these but I have my new range sensor that I haven’t put on. I bought it because when I’m on high rpm let’s say 5500 or 6k it won’t let me shift into next gear on manual mode. 2nd to 3rd or sometimes 3rd to 4th

My 06 has been taken care of very well and had no lights on my dash whatsoever? Hopefully you have time to answer my question. Thanks in advance.
According to what others experience. It’s one of the factors that usually go out over time and slowly wear the transmission out. The main cause of the transmission failure is the transmission cooler. So replacing the pressure switches will help with shifting and acceleration to improve performance and mpg

So I have a 2004 Acura TL and my when I move the gear selector into drive there's about a six or seven second delay and then I feel the transmission sort of slowly engaging. The car will drive fine for about four or five minutes and then it's almost as if the car slips into neutral but the selector hasn't moved. It's as if it was moved to Neutral but it's still in Drive. I've started having to use the manual mode on the gear selector and the " 1" shows on the dash but it's as if it's still in neutral and doesn't engage and the car won't move but the rpm's fly way up. If I push up on the selector to shift into the " 2 " mode on the dash there's about five or six seconds delay and then the transmission slowly engages. From there I can shift into " 3 " and " 4 " and also back down into " 2 " but after about five minutes of this eventually it's as if the transmission slips into neutral or is barely engaging if at all and I usually have to pull the car over and either allow it to cool down completely for a few hours at which point I can repeat the process. When the car is engaged the transmission feels fine and doesn't slip at all. I've done a single drain and fill but I sort of was waiting for a better guess as to what's failing before I do so. It's so embarassing when my cars blocking traffic while I push it off the side of the road and it's almost heartbreaking because the car is really nice looking and I like it but the transmission replacement job is just out of my budget. I can do the work myself but I'm just super lost as to even finding the information I need to properly guess which shift solenoids to replce or what pressure switches maybe? Not even sure if that's the issue. Could it be a bad torque converter? One thing I have noticed is when I go for a short ride to the gas station a block or two away and get home and put the gear selector into " P " I hear a sort of abrupt clunk. Kind of like the sound of a gear crunching sort of or the teeth of a gear sort of meshing roughly. If you had to make an educated guess what do you think I should start with first replacing and then second and third? I think the solenoids are cheap enough I can replace them one by one if I have to until either the problem solves itself or I realize I need a new transmission and cry myself to sleep. Lol.
From what I can tell there's very poor documentation as to what exactly the failure is that people are experiencing but instead of diagnosing them correctly I'm finding most people just went for a complete transmission replacement. If the car was brand new maybe it would be worth a $3,000 transmission replacement but not at this point 199,000 miles in. Praying for a cheap fix even if it's not a perfect solution or ideal. I just want it to be able to drive and then I'll drive the car into the ground and not look back.
