Every time I am reminded that Nozdormu is still in the game, and still works the way that it does, my current respect for Blizzard and the Hearthstone team is reduced by about 10%.
It really adds up considering how many years this shit has been around...
+Feam T what? That card has a unique mecanic that no other one has. You think that its unfair to deny the other player to play? Well, try building a deck with this Nozdormu concept and see how many times the combo actually works. Besides, the warrior in this video had plenty of time to react.
Nozdormu its just a crazy card that in most cases apears just from random effects rather than by constructive decks, and results in very funny plays, why would you change it?
If your argument for Nozdormu being a printable, fair and interactive card, is that it isn't commonly used / overpowered, your perspective on game design might be a little bit limited.
I'm not saying that I am an expert either, but you literally used the phrase "deny the other player to play" in your sentence.
That is the absolute worst thing any game designer can put in their game.
Your opinion is your own and I'm not going to try and change your mind, but personally I am (and I'm assuming that quite a few other players are too) really disappointed with the way the rope system works in general. There's no reason for you to be able to eat into your opponent's turn.
Can you imagine a master of chess in a tournament setting being able to hit the timer clock, then cover his opponent's eyes for 30 seconds? It's just an absurd situation.
Yeah, im not saying that its fair. But Hearthstone is a game when crazy things happen quite often, and denying someones turn sure is a crazy feature that looks like impossible to be in a multiplayer game with competitive. But the chances of this happening are so low that its nice to have it, because there is the possibility. Thats why you wont be seeing decks based on this effect in the higher ranks. (or lowers, in hearthstone case)
Plus, Nozdormu have funny impacts in a game, "denying your oponent turn" its not the usual one. What usually happens is that it force both players to make mistakes because the lack of time.
I dunno, but it fits quite well in hearthstone for me. As you say, you have your opinnion and I wont change it, but I hope the card stays as it its.
