The ZR1's tested at the Nurburgring were fitted with exhaust turndowns , that had to affect the sound. The turbos take some sharpness out of the sound compared to the NA LT6. As far as turbo-charging a flat plane crank, McLaren and Ferrari have twin turbo V8's with flat plane crank, has been done before. If GM has fitted the LT6 with twin turbos, make me think the engines design must be strong if it can accept forced induction: give me confidence in my C8 Z06 LT6! The Zora will be the ZR1 with the E-Ray front electric motor.

I just luv my wall of buttons and cockpit. Its a drivers enthusiasts car. Its a track that can be also an amazing daily driver. Im just totally proud of owning my Rapid blue HTC Stingray

Will this drop the price on the c7 zr1 I definitely wanna get one once I get back from deployment or a c8 z06. C7 zr1 are still crazy high right now. Would love them to get closer to 120k instead of 200k lol 😂

The sports car market is bursting with product, sales are slowing, That fact will limit sales, they’ll build as many as they can sell.
The new Mustang GTD will be offered in any custom color you want AND you can prohibit anybody else from using the same color.

It might require less engineering but we've already seen the pieces leaked showing a turbo setup.

@@HorsePowerObsessed i got 2023 Z51. I did the whole process by giving my information to the website and emailed the person and they came back with a more expensive price then Farmers. The last time I was at the museum I forgot to ask about insurance and etc.. I only live around an hour from the museum. It’s also where I picked my car up.
Bigger fish to fry than the reveal. GMs big gamble since restructuring was a electric future, and that has died with very soft sales of EVs. This reveal is for share holders to rethink GM as a luxury brand because of the pricing folks. Holding the dam back on cheap Chinese EVs isnt going well in Europe, and its the same here. The sports car category and Trucks is all that is happening for GM at the moment.

Corvette people don’t want a battery in their car why not all wheel drive without a battery powering that all wheel drive set up?? If GM made the corvette all wheel drive powered by an ice engine then they would have sold more and more corvette people would be interested cause that’s how I feel I’m not buying a battery boosting performance vehicle I just flat don’t care if it’s faster make it faster with power adding mods as in turbos superchargers or something new but not batteries!! That’s the truth as in why the Eray isn’t doing good in my opinion. I’ve owned 3 Corvette’s C7 Stingray, C7 Z06, currently a C8 Stingray and I’m 40 fyi if anyone was wondering I am talking on experience and as part of the current demographic of a Corvette.
