I’m tired of Marchands penalties. Weather justified or not, many of these are based on reputation, and these are costing the team wins. Pasta is playing like a captain this year. His line is the only one that shows up most nights. Unfortunately the Bruins will remain a bubble team until the playoffs, probably adding at the deadline for another playoff disappointment if they get there. I think a package of Marchand and Carlo to Colorado for something tangible would be beneficial to both teams. And trading Freddy for a pick and giving the kids a legitimate shot should be the course of action for the rest of this season.
Agree 100% The B's need to face facts, they are not going anywhere in the playoffs as is.
That was a bullshit penalty because he got pushed into Igor. I cut Marchand and a lot of slack because he’s one of about three guys on the Bruins that go balls out, all the time. Actually, more like one of one.
@ he did get pushed, and his helmet ripped off. But because it’s Marchand he is the only one called. Reputation. Besides, it’s happened all year long. Bergey isn’t there to rein him in anymore.

Very winnable game! Rangers sitting at home for two days waiting for the Bruins after they lit them up last game... Bruins played last night as well... saying all that... I thought it was a tight game! The boys didn't get blown out!

The main problem is their PP. Pasta is on fire and no one can set him up. Even when he sets them up they can’t finish. The PP has been so bad since last year. All they needed was just 1 and they would’ve had the game. The PP lost them 2 points.
The MAIN problem is half the forwards doing nothing and Carlo becoming washed
I love Carlo. I feel like he started having streaks of mistakes a few years back. And then over the years has slowly became more and more inconsistent with his play. I also feel that he hasn’t meshed well with any of the other defensemen he’s played with this year. Unfortunately it looks like it’s time for him to go.
Aside from Carlo, I’m feeling optimistic about Zadorov and Lindholm still. When the B’s signed uncle Nick, his first year was absolute trash. The season after, his production went way up and was amazing in the locker room. I feel both of these guys will end up the same way. This is an off year, and we’ve unfortunately been spoiled by bruins hockey all these years to not know how to handle it lol. We’ll bounce back next season.
You cannot score goals when 60% of in-zone puck possession is just rimming around and battles against the boards. If you are facing the boards and have your back to the goal, you will never get shots.
SHG was on Sacco. He left the first unit on for nearly entire two mins. That’s why Kreider looked as fast as McDavid.
I lost all hope that the Bruins will be in the playoffs this year. The management has to change and a mostly new team needs to be built.
Wouldn’t pay Clifton,Orlov,Dougie Hamilton,bottom line iz Jacobs is too cheap to sign more quality guys……need another center,LW,guys like Paille,Thornton,Greg Campbell….guys that know their job and NEED to win
This is 3 games of 5 where the captain took a bit of a selfish penalty in the later part of the game. Leadership is a bit of an issue on the team.
Win or at list get a point.
The main problem is they are terrible. Up and down no heart what 17 shots on net no hitting they are a joke.
Too many passes and not enough shots.
