Tutorial - Build a Stadium in Blender
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 25 янв 2019
- We sum up the main passages we go across while creating our stadium images (follow the thread on Blender Artist: blenderartists.org/t/stadium-...)
This tutorial shows how to match the prespective using fSpy, and how to build stairs and structures along the field with bezier curves.

love the amount of procedural geometry in the stadium.
WHAT WAS PREOCEDURAL BRO?
this is really great
im making a new football game using unreal engine 4 and this tutorial for getting my stadiums in the game has been super helpful. thankyou
Hey weird question, I have modeled a stadium (olympic sports city) for a university project and I would love for it to be in your game, are you interested in it?
@@MirageAhlie www.mediafire.com/file/t326zeznqonwajx/stadium.skp/file Here you go! If you end up using it could you show me the end product? Thanks!
It's been 3 years. How is the game
what happened to the game
I'm making a stadium for wrestling on a software called Dreams on PS4/5 and this is perfect. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the comment. I'm glad that even if the tutorial is old, some things can be helpful for someone else project. If you have any question, you can find me here!
just WOW.
Nice tips
Great tutorial. I'm just wondering how you snap the bezier handle perpendicular to the xyx axis? Thanks
In this particular case, if you are referring to 5:20, I was just taking advantage of the fact that the defaut bezier curve left handle is 45° in Z, so I think I was just rotating it by other 45° with the numpad to get it straight. So I already knew the angle. Otherwise, I usually scale the handle to 0 after pressing the axis key and then adjust the size later. Dunno if it's clear enough. Feel free to drop a line here if you need more information!
Mantap gan... keren
I like that stadium!
but how much capacity?

Why does the array object go to the middle of the grid when I try to edit?
That's probably beacuse the modifiers are disabled in edit mode, so your curve modifier is not affecting geometry. Ther's a little icon right after the modifier name that you should enable for all the modifiers of the stack. Try that and let me know.
Is it applicable for MAC OS? If not, there is any other way to use it in MAC OS? Thank you.
You can download the macOS version Blender in this page www.blender.org/download/, right below the main dowload there's the option. The interface is the same, commands are the same. Idem for Photoshop and fspy (fspy.io/). Let me know if there is any problem.
do you know that using array to multiply separate objects with Curve, in the Y axis, the measure is different?
this is not right, the right way is to create the separate objects aligned in the curve, if the objects stay out of the curve this will cause a big difference in the measure!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hello, id like to make an order for a stadium for Pes 2020. Could it be possible. Thanks
Hello! We usually focus on illustrations, but I think there should be no problem in providing a model only. Send us an e-mail whit your requested features at info@monorender.com so we can get in touch.
Hellow can you create a greek stadium the stadium of ionikos nikaia for pes 2021??
The music is so smooth
any RUclips link for the music?
Sorry, I can't remember exactly where it comes from but It was surely from one of the free CC0 music sites you can find on the web.
Can you give me the form please( stadium)
I'm desperate, I don't do the part at minute 23:50 right. How does shear work like that? My project doesn't do that. I'm modeling a soccer stadium too. Thanks!
Sorry for the confusion. I have the shear tool gizmo active, but in that sopecific case, I'm not using the shear tool, but the scale tool via keyboard commands (S->Z->0 to flatten all the faces)

How do you make goalnets?
Usually they are made by using rectangular faces subdivided a few times to allow proper deformation during the animation and a simple net texture with a proper aplha channel to keep a low polycount.
what scale do you use in this project?
I'm working in meters (which is the default unit). At 10:28 (without me sayin anything, sorry) you can see I added to the scene a plane that represent the average soccer field with correct dimension and proportions: from that object I then eyeball all the other sizes.
where you get the soccer field img??
It's a photo by Willian Justen de Vasconcello, you get it for free here unsplash.com/it/foto/21Cg_fsFBGc .I didn''t show that part because it was not the focus of the project (you cannot see the pitch in the final image),
thank you :p@@MonoRender
Aye would there be any chance people can download that and use it for a mod in a video game Im apart of this modding community in the game BeamNG. drive and we made a monster truck modification and i use stadium models to make maps in them we don't make any money off any of this its just a hobbyand i think itd be cool to use that model thanks
I'm sorry but I recently had a disk failure and I lost all my old files. Sigh! I would be happy to provide the model, even though it would be not optimized for a game engine. When I can gather a little time, maybe I'll rebuild it and share with you. DId you already look on www.blendswap.com/search?keyword=stadium?
@@MonoRender I did not which one is yours and all the game requires is to export a .dae to work and i gotta apply textures but thats np.
would you be interested in making other tutorials please let me know there is other stuff i would like to learn if interested let me know maybe we can made a deal and i can pay for your time
Thanks for the offer, it makes us understand how much you appreciate our work. We can't accept because we prefer to spend our time on the project itself rather then the making of/tutorial. We also think that there are lots of good stuff around that cover almost everything :-). What kind of tutorial would you be interested in?
@@MonoRender well if you guys could make a video like the one here but slower it would be amazing because the speed its a little to fast to see what you guys are using sometimes and what i would really be interested in a video from you guys would be modeling Mazinger z infinity or even the original Mazinger z its something similar to gundam if you guys can or need anything please let me know i would really appreciated

Can you create a stadium for me pls
Could you pass me the stadium ?? ...
great work, can you help me design my stadium project please
Sure, what kind of help do you need exactly?
does this still work in 2023?
Geometry nodes changed a lot, so you'll probably need to find way to replicate 2/3 things (here for example I shared the updated version for the stadium seats twitter.com/monorender/status/1454502339444940802?s=20), but other than that everything should work more or less the same. If you have any precise question, feel free to ask here.
Can you give me a form please
Sorry, I'm not sure about what you are asking. Can you spend a few more words on what you exactly need?
@@MonoRender stadium 3d model
terrible tutorial goes way too fast without ANY explanation!
The tutorial is aiming for an experienced audience who already know the basic of #b3d. You can't expect a step by step video that cover a complex project like this in 30 minutes. Have you tried the built-in youtube function to slow the video down? If there are passages that are not clear, you can ask question down here and I'll try to explain them.
@@MonoRender im sry. didnt mean to sound so angry.. it was a pretty sick build
I hate with a burning flame videos with text and no one talking. shouldn't be a video, go open a blog.
I'm so mad right now I could spit. this is exactly what I wanted but i can't stand watching it.
