This is the medicine that tames the beast, and rectifies the soul. I understand what you have been through to get to this point. This song touched me deep within my being...
this group is practically perfect. I want to say though, having just seen them perform this fantastic song live, that this version feels (1) too rushed (it was ever so slightly more relaxed live, giving it a joyful 'bounce') and (2) a bit 'flat' in terms of the mix (the live performance was very dynamic, with differences in volume and 'energy' between the different sections; here it all feels more or less the same. If you can find a recent live performance of this with good audio quality, do yourself a favor and check it out. (I have not found one yet.)
@@matthewp8734 Hey man, yes theese guys pour their soul and I am godsmacked, but if aceroyplatadeluna heard a version he found more interesting/enjoyable and want to share it, please let him nicely. That is him pouring soul in the comment section;-) All good spirits though, have a good one!
there is nothing better that scandinavian folk music you can dance to
Hypnotically beautiful. Musicians at one with their instruments and each other.

I always said to my self, Väsen is the best band in the world at present time..
I love these guys! what a beautiful tune. The improv around the basic tune is wonderful.
