Micky Moody was the man that inspired me to want to play guitar. Saw him at Hammersmith Odeon on the 'Fool for Your Lovin' No More' tour in 1978 ('79?) when I was just 14 or 15. He came out on stage and played a slide solo. I remember him all in black with his trademark hat, the spotlight on him, and I thought 'Wow, I wanna be able to do that'. I had the pleasure to meet him and tell him just that, at a gig he played in Twickenham with Papa George back in about 2002'ish. He's a really nice genuine guy. And no, I still can't play like him!
I was there also, great gig, I found the programme amongst many others while moving house recently, totally forgot I had them ! So that took an hour out of my day reminiscing about the gigs we went to back in the day, I'm gonna have a look at the tab on this song, it looks a good one to learn, different tuning I think. 👍
*Just Great Talent. Truly missing The Whitesnake Music Touring days in America. Just Great Music and A Great Time Growing Up in America. Thank You to The Great Lord Above for fulfilling The Air with Harmony.*
Such a lovely song. Moody and Marsden wrote so many amazing songs with Whitesnake. With some exceptions, the band have never been as consistent or soulful since they were in it with Murray, Lord and Paice
Great music.Don't know who she is singing but she's looking and sounding good. As for Mick, him and Bernie Marsden were always proper Whitesnake for me, although I've always loved Still Of the Night
I would have never thought that a female voice would work for that song. I stumbled across this years later and Mr Moody looks doggone good. I hope he's still doing well. I look forward to the day the world is free from these stupid, nonsensical make-believe masks. Not going to hold my breath or cry either way.
Man I miss the days of Micky Moody & Bernie Marsden with Whitesnake but of course David Coverdale Ego fucked up a good thing. Wish Micky n Bernie had gotten there own band together
For me the best Whitesnake era..
The snakes best song.
this sort of footage is gold - their best years
So lovely another dimension 💗 Lincolnshire uk 😊😊
micky moody was in a earlier band with the great paul rodgers called the roadrunners.
Classic Whitesnake gave the world some brilliant songs. And this is one of them.
Best Whitesnake years were with MR. Moody and Mr. Marsden. Great to see you still rocking Micky
Totally agree. 👍
Ohhh yeah.
Far and away
You're missing Lord and Murray with that comment
Ohhh yesss
Whitesnake after Moody/Marsden/Murray/Paice/Lord lost its soul. Today, I’d rather see Micky and Abi in a pub than Coverdale in an arena.
А я бы лучше Дэвида послушал ещё хоть раз
I'd forgotten about this little number. But that was pure quality. Superb!
Brilliant

Mr Moody is probably the best slide player ever, was lucky enough to see the Moody with Whitesnake in 82, what a guitar player!
Wish we could see also the brilliant harmonica player.

Whitesnake with: D Coverdale J Lord, M Moody, B Marsden. N Murray was THE VERY BEST line-up!
Such a lovely song. Moody and Marsden wrote so many amazing songs with Whitesnake. With some exceptions, the band have never been as consistent or soulful since they were in it with Murray, Lord and Paice

This short gig is fabulous!! It reminded me of the legendary concert inHammersmith in 1978. Awesome!
👍👍👍👍 from Italy!
The great Mr Moody!
Wow! Just…wow! This is fantastic! Ready An’ Willing is one of my favorite albums, and this is such a great, soulful version of this song.
Me too Ready an willing is my Whitesnake fav album.
The lady's name is Ali Maas. She and Micky Moody have three albums. Wish we could have seen the harp player too.
I'm wondering if its Alan Glen
Just done some research and it could be his mate Bob Young Status Quo tour manager
One of the greatest rock songs will ever be in my mind 🤟👍♥️
I agree!
Beautiful sounding acoustic guitar Micky.
Great version ,great legend!
Fantastic Performance, great song
Great music.Don't know who she is singing but she's looking and sounding good.

Eternal respect Mr. Moody.

Moody/Marsden incarnation of Whitesnake is the best by far IMHO :) BTW the song is titled "AINT GONNA CRY NO MORE"
Excellent version of a classic. Thanks.
Wonderful guitar Micky....As ever!!
He looks good after all these years. Too bad he's not still with Whitesnake. I'd rather see Moody instead of Reb Beach.
One of the best performances on You Tube. Greetings from Poland.
Bellissima anche con l'assolo di mr LORD
It has to be said that harmonica is suburb, hello Mr Moody, my hero.
Really really great, love this tune, wow she's a mega singer,
