That Fin can ride! Years ago (2014ish) I rode a turbo Artic Cat 4 banger in the mountains and that thing was a handful. Everything needs to be planned, carry lots of momentum or you put you and your friends backs out trying to get it unstuck. Looks like he has spent some time on that platform because that is not an easy task to flip around like that. Great video as always, keep them coming!
Awesome to hear a Yamaha in the mountains. Stock, the Yamaha doesn't like to be rolled, oil goes from the crank case ventilation into the intake and ends up down in the intercooler, so when you're riding WOT the next time it'll burn the oil and get black smoke. Easily fixed with bypassing the ventilation. You rock Janzkak! A dream to bring a Sidewinder to Canada, but I'm not good enough on one 😆😂🇸🇪
Such a great video! Especially the Fin representing the yam turbski! Very glad you got your exhaust sensor fixed! Your sled was sounding pretty sad before.
Another sweet video! Riding my favorite area. Snow is still looking good. Hoping the warm weather and rain isnt affecting up top to much. Hopefully just dumping snow🤞 plan to be back up there later this week
Suuuper jealous of that Ohlins man. I come from an automotive background and Ohlins have been killing it for decades - stoked they got into the snowmobile market!!
back in the late 90's early 2000s Ohlins worked with yamaha alot on their top dog sleds. My old greasy triple has ohlins on it, and they were real game changer.
The thing is we don´t have plases to ride in deep snow here in finnland. It is mostly illegal to ride off the groomed and marked traks but we do it anyways. We also don`t have big hills or massive ammount of snow to ride even in north. Like few hundred meter climb is fucking a good one 😅
I didn’t wanna say it but your sled did sound a bit doggy to me before. It seems to be ripping now.. good fix. And I thought those 4 strokes were supposed to be good on fuel. I wonder if he was full at the start of the day?
@@Janzkak There is a fix for that. My buddy had the same issue in his and ended up extending his picking lines in his tank. My 2017 doesn't seem as effected, I have to be really low for it not to start downhill.
Only thing that makes riding in finland hard, we dont have many legal places to ride so we have to do it illegally and we dont have any mountains like that
I rode Yamaha for a long time. I was hardcore Yamaha. Then they stopped "trying" with their snowmobiles. They fell behind. Now they're out of the snowmobile game altogether. Still have my 2005 Vector and I ride an MT-09 SP motorcycle. Had to move on to Ski-Doo for snowmobiles. Sad since I liked the raw power of the Yamaha 4-stroke engines.
The old turbo four strokes were good for one thing, straight up hill climbing! Bet Jesse couldn't wait to get back on that lighter Cat after fighting the Yammy!
@@GreatLakesLogger a shame, prob not just a coupla bucks to fix that.... had a 225 hp mtx, sold it but are lokking for another with a higher tune. Too expensive tuning it, so Will Just find another. Or i Will get an apex turbo😂
Yoo im so jealous ! Been watching @Janzkak for the last 10 years he's really a beast on the sidewinder. Hope to see more 4 strokes in revelstoke
I take mine out there i just wish i looked like janzkak when i ride

He was an Yamaha ambassador in Finland and basically an sidewinder advocate here😅 check his youtube channel and other social medias.
Jan would be nutz on a 2 stroke! Thank you for sharing!
I believe he has both a g5 and a mountain max
No 4 strokes are more powerful than

Thanks dude it’s ripping now!
Props to the guy. Riding a random sled and looking good
I was waiting to see this guy ride the Rockies
i think his sled in Finland has around 300hp.. most of the yamies over here have 270hp ++ Realy fun to ride.. but heavy :)
Jan been watching his channel for a cpuple years when he post guys crazy on his 270hp yamaha in finland
That yama' sounds like a monster✌️✌️
Yes!
I was wondering how he was going to get a SideWinder to North America so he just bought one when he got here. time to tuner her up.
Greetings from Finland! That looks so awesome!

Holy yea Jan was tellin me that!
i think jan should tune the sidewinder to 320 hp if he can.
Did you have a check engine light? How did you know the sensor was pooched?
It rattled out of the exhaust
I gotta ask…. How did u meet up with the guy from Finland

Sidewinder chug thru fuel when they are tuned
@@ScandiSledder8000I wouldn't say that. I never carry fuel in mine and out last the 2 strokes in the group who carry extra fuel.
I ride a yamaha 4 stroke too and even stock it drinks as much as my friend 850 rmk
It doesn't need so much fuel than 2 stroke but tank is only 33 liters and it won't get fuel when nose is down even I would have 40-50%.

What did he do blow into the fuel tank I don't get it

Is Jesse keeping that 600 next season or selling it in the off season. If he's selling it let me know.
I think he is !

@@LDFilmz hard to beat that boosted four stroke torque!
60 views, and 3 likes, wtf people
Awesome
His real name is Jani, very easy to pronounce.
I think that 4-stroke needs a tune
I think it has one.
They are 200 ish stock, 250 with a tune, which his is. 270 is normal for them, he can go 320 too
