Fyi, there's an acoustic version recorded by STP. It's definitely on Amazon Music if you want to compare. I prefer MUE's acoustic version of this song. This is one of my fave songs ever, so I appreciate this cover!

I'm the same way buddy!!! Had the garage bands with my buddies in high school in the late 70s and early 80s ut now at 58 in middle Kentucky there isn't nobody around here that plays really!!!! I frickin miss it like crazy!!!!

As someone who's life was deeply impacted by the release of this album back in the 90's and also someone who lived through that era...these guys NAILED everything! The sound, the hair, the harmonies in the vocals (excellent btw), right down to the SHOES...This whole vibe here takes me right back to that time which was so great for me. I would have hung out with these guys back then lol.
There was so much good music being made in the early 90's and every time I hear any song from STP it just "sounds like the 90's." Love everything about this.

What's wild is that these children couldn't have been alive when Purple came out. It's wild - music from that era and that "demographic," shall we say, seems to have disappeared down the memory hole. I'm always amazed that kids even know this stuff, honestly.
