i love your videos dude!!! don't stop making them, ive never watched a bad video from yoy (unless you get bored of making them & the quality drops anyway)
Thanks for going so in-depth with all your mixes! It's good to get some background info on the composers, which are so often overlooked. Good job on the Mark barrage too
Boy, seeing Frederic Motte and Kalisto threw me for a loop, I know intellectually that there was a picture of Pac-Man and the listing said the game's name but I was well and truly expecting "Nightmare Creatures but Game Gear" lol Yet another great mix, Love this channel. Needs more Road Rash, Comix Zone, and Earthworm Jim rep though!
While you're looking into Game gear Music I highly recommened giving the soundtrack to Lunar Sanposuru Gakuen a listen to. It's in my opinion the best soundtrack on the console by far but not many people know of it
We have this problem on the PCjr and Tandy 1000 series too (same chip). No lower octaves, can't really do a bassline. There is a periodic noise function, but it's not really a substitute because the missing lower octaves hamper its effectiveness.
Matt Furniss really did have a mastery of the Sega soundchips of that era. Chuck Rock II's MD/Genesis soundtrack is amazing.
BASS... What most SMS games seen to be missing! Thank you for making list of games that have good bass lines!
The bass timbre on the track from Ninja Gaiden is crazy!! So raspy. I love it.

damn I don't think I ever heard SMS noise channel bass before, fascinating.

Amazing mix as always!
"Asterix and The Great Rescue" has very good tracks.
Also, thanks for the "A-Team" exclusive. I wonder how you found this one.
the A-Team tracks have been floating around for a while! you can find them on SMSPower, for example

Wow, there was an A-Team master system game????? God I would had loved that as a kid....
well, there was *plans* for one. even now, we don't have anything beyond the music. 😔
oh wow. so the situation with the A-Team on the SMS is the same as with Erik the Viking on the NES? wild

check out "Battle" from the game Head Buster too!
that was sweet to wake up to!
The transitions 👌
It's such a bad soundchip and still I love it so much. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug :D
I hear bits from Robocop 3 on the A-Team song and bits from the ZX and CPC versions of Robocop 1 on Robocop vs The Terminator 😁
How can you have bass without triangle waves though....
Triangle waves actually kinda suck for bass. Square and saw waves are way bassier
least favorite sound chip, only basic square waves, i'll only be impressed when someone does zx spectrum beeper type music on it
