I was 11 years old when I was given this album by my sister and I fell in love with it. I went through alot of dark times when I was young but "The Power of Failing" always brought to my feet. This song has always been special to me and now my 6 year old son loves it. He plays the bass line all the time. Thank you Chris for making a difference in our lives and showing us how to smile...
There are blue skies in my dreams And laughter that seems unending There are green grass fields there And happiness and hope for tomorrow My cup is full and my heart Spills awkward and embarrassing blood Onto white golden streets And I am unashamed of the stains my steps leave Tears stream down my cheeks Only to meet their redeemer and be wiped away And there is joy
Old comment but bro this is my all time favorite song. I remember listening to this song yearning for the moment to know the feeling and finally I was saved earlier this year knowing the true gospel. It was a long time coming but I dont regret anything or feel angry, its just perfect. Knowing that Jesus died for me and did it all and all I have to do for salvation is to believe in the redeemer who she his precious perfect blood. There is no greater gift. Jesus is sooooo good to me and is all will ever need. Thank you Jesus for saving me I cant wait to meet my savior!
2024 and still beautiful

i wasn’t expecting him to hit those high notes so perfectly and fully. wow.
thoroughly super, perfect
My absolute all time favorite Mineral song. Maybe other than February. That one is a real close second.
There are blue skies in my dreams
And laughter that seems unending
There are green grass fields there
And happiness and hope for tomorrow
My cup is full and my heart
Spills awkward and embarrassing blood
Onto white golden streets
And I am unashamed of the stains my steps leave
Tears stream down my cheeks
Only to meet their redeemer and be wiped away
And there is joy
If Mineral went the Owen route and it was just Chris with an acoustic guitar playing small, intimate venues I would cry of joy
God is good. He will wipe away every tear and there will be joy. 🙏🏻🖤
These song and album are a lot about God's knowing and meeting.
