But he has cornered the market on it with the better production values of the WWE machine and a single decent story (until Roman went on hiatus.) and WWEs ratings are tanking (while AEW is dead because 30 minute match marks can just watch it produced better on Raw and Smackdown.)

They are waiting for anything of high storyline importance for the playoffs to end before they dive into that. Thus is the purpose of king of the ring. it fills the time during this point. And there was more than one storyline going into wrestlemania.
If Tony Khan took ONE piece of negative criticism on board, the AEW product would instantly improve. Until that happen, AEW is going to continue to spiral downwards.

Where you run into problem is paying there top-card talent what they are making and it's not drawing, no increase in sales or views from the contracts handed out to the bucks, monet, Osprey, Okada, etc.

Tony, you’re not Vince McMahon, Ted Turner, or even Eric Bischoff. Those guys were hardliners when it was time to be hardline. Eric Bischoff made plenty of bad decisions but at least he knew the business enough to be confident in how he envisioned WCW during their peak. Ted Turner let those "experts" run the actual wrestling operations (good or bad decisions). He just signed the chqs. *HUGE* difference from Tony K. Look at what happened to the Khan family other operation - NFL team Jags, when they tried to insert themselves into the football operations & when they let the "experts" actually run things.

It makes no sense to compare Bischoff and Khan. Its apples and oranges. Bischoff has stated he was given control of WCW with the marching orders to make it profitable. Which he did for some time. It is obvious Khans goal is not to grow the product and make it profitable. If Bischoff ran WCW how Khan runs AEW, WCW would have been shut down in the early 90s well before the problems that arose in the late 90s.

Tony Khan has taken AEW into a very dangerous category “of not being cool.” This is a legit thing. Especially with the younger crowd. You don’t want to take your brand into go home heat. Not good heat. You don’t want to go down the road where you’re considered a dork or not cool for watching or following AEW. I know it’s stupid to think but it happens. Nobody wants to go to a loser party. Live events need big time help at AEW.
WCW in 2000/2001 had way more momentum than AEW has ever had. Kids were still talking about that shit in school, people still wore the merch. I've never seen a "Scissor me daddy ass" shirt in the wild. Not even at non-aew wrestling shows.
