5:08:14 knowing aphelios carries a stopwatch, faker goes to nidalee for a quick burst and a Viego reset. one of the many reason why faker deserves the respect from the new generation world champions. also Gumayusi and Canna carried game2, no doubt. @@JellyBitz hopefully we'll get a hidden track episode on this! i'm cheating a bit as i understand a little bit of korean (sadly not fluent), and it goes something like this (taking into account some time delay compared to in-game action): gumayusi: (something about gangplank) keria: i have pillar faker: ok then let's slowly push while getting the inhib(?) keria: pillar pillar (as he blocks kingen, then someone calls the flash) faker: we got him, let's go for it canna: i can teleport to a minion x4 (no, not protect the waves), i'm going to teleport to a minion keria: top one x3 (no, not TP) canna: hit it x2 keria: top one x2 oner: slowly x2 gumayusi: we need to fight keria: let's fight x?, get lee sin x2 oner: got him, slowly canna: i think we can finish keria: hit the structures x?, i'll block them faker: let's do it x3 team: good job guys
IMO GenG will always get exposed by teams that just play faster. DWG as of recent and T1 are some of the teams that will force the pace in the early game. Also, Rascal was always there stronger player. If they want to bench someone it should've been clid or life.
DRX played well. T1 didn't play to their standard. However, T1 since the change of lineup (oner) and coaching staff are now 6-1 with the single loss coming to a support alistar stealing baron.
@@Gurpreet-sv5zg T1 was always fun to watch though even when they were playing mediocre, but it is fun to see them play smarter. They would just autopilot and lose before, or Faker/Canna/Teddy would do that and pull the other two along for the ride.
i dont think t1 was bad. i think the herald steal was what they didnt count on. i feel like up to that point, everything seems to be according to t1s plan. because even though they were two kills behind they were never more than a thousand gold behind. it wasnt till after the herald steal that put drx ahead. but then drx have problems closing the games as from that point, t1 was playing not to lose. they know they have the clear speed on the minions between both ez and ryze. as long as the two stands, the baron minions can still be dealt with so they can give up the baron. and once faker flank the nidalee, the game was pretty over since all the gold is on the nidalee.
@@patlee4858 That's just T1 for you. I've noticed that in this Summer that they are so aware of their macro that the gold difference wont be over than 1-2k (if they are behind). I remember they were 2-7 against HLE but their gold was even, which shouldnt make sense since HLE got a lot more kills
if you're asking why they get side selection in the first place, my explanation is as below. if you're asking why they chose the sides they did, i'm afraid that's a team strategy i can't explain. in the double round robin format, each team gets to be "home team" once and "away team" once with each of the other teams. the "home team" (the team to the left of the "vs.") gets side selection for game 1. in this match, GEN is the home team, and they picked red side (28:15). (this match is GEN vs. DK, when they played each other in round 1/week 4, their match was DK vs. GEN.) for game 2 (and 3 if applicable), the team that lost the previous game gets side selection (e.g. 1:19:31).
The casters wants T1 to win without mistakes, while they kept on praising dwk even though they troll some plays yesterday is disgusting to listen to. They make T1 look bad to the international audience and i hope someone will tell them.
It's like they want T1 to lose that game 2, i hope they put some new casters that are optimistic like doa and montecristo years ago, they hype every lck team which makes lck teams look good toward the international audience, not these casters who constantly look for the mistakes of the winning team, especially when T1 wins.
But someone has to point it out i think. Criticisms are a way to improve so I thinks it's not bad. Especially if T1 watches this vods later on. Plus, I think that if t1 themselves think that stumbles like game 2 is just fine since you can't stay in tip top shape every time, it shouldn't really matter what anyone says. Just my opinion.

Is it just me or is Gen G not in top shape, against t1 and Dk. It wasnt near the level of competition ive been expected.
