So basically if you lower the EE cycle to -2. You also turn up the EE skip to mild? Then adjust game speed accordingly? Been messing with the settings but your samples showed some great promise

You will have to mix and match depending on the game. Give it a try and see if it helps :)

Thanks for this. What about PSP games? Do they need tweaking or they run as is perfectly, given that PSP games are less demanding.

Psp can be easily playable by default settings. No tweaking is necessary for 90% of the games.

Despite of this settings and 60 frames Tekken tag on ps2 is still unplayeble. Game works much slower.

Some games are just unplayable on a t618 handheld. You would need something more powerful like RP4 Pro.

Is it possible to get shadow of the colossus to run better ? Ive spent hours trying, got gammaos thinking it would help but it dident, i think ive not done the core or bios right but i cant figure it out 😢

Shadow of the colossus is a hard game to run on t618 handheld no matter what you do. Try getting the pal rom and play with the settings how I showed in the video. Won't be the best experience no matter what we do though.

It’s possible of course, but still may not be good enough since it’s a game that’s not even remotely playable under default settings. SotC is difficult to emulate; it’s one of the most demanding PS2 games ever made actually, and we can’t expect miracles from the T618.
Try minimizing the resolution to squeeze the last bit of performance potential in addition to the tricks mentioned here. There are also some community-made PNACH codes available specifically designed to make emulating it easier by disabling things like lighting, shadows, and particle effects. I’d try that next since you’re willing to put in some extra work.
