This weekend I’m going to go get my first kit. It’s going to be this plane. I enjoy your videos you are very good, I’m hoping my ceiling will be high enough to hide my inexperience 😂
I'm 59, I haven't built a model plane in years. Back in my day they were much simpler except for the pilot. Regarding a super glue setter, I have always used the stuff from my local gaming store
Gorgeous work!🥳 This kit is probably my all time favorite to recommended! Not perfect BUT its very good & simple to get a solid result even for beginner-ish builders. I'm actually though fixin to do a Miniart version, get micro psychotic 😊
@scaleresurrectionmodeler7379 Yeah!😅 talk about high part count, I'm just finishing the Hobby Boss 48th B-24J & it has nearly everything packed in there! And it's 80% not visible. Also I relate to the canopy mask removal😬 same problem, I use a toothpick...
Water should set cyanoacrylate (superglue). Experiment with a fine aerosol spray. Love the build. The razorback 'jug' is a beautiful beast of a plane. I made a 1:72 version years ago; I wish my best efforts were a fraction as good as this. Well done!
A honest video build !. The cockpit decals were damaged by too much superglue that crystallized under the decals and frosted up. Good old white glue works best and is cheap. As far as supplies go I usually use EBay, quick and cheaper than most online hobby shops, IMHO. Like you said, build for the fun of it. I've been building for 65+ years and it's still great mental therapy. Enjoy yourself, it's not a job. Great looking T-Bolt !
Great subject. AirCorps Aviation did a beautiful restoration that motivated me into building . I chose a Kinetic 1/24 kit with a DrawDecal set. If interested there are videos posted on my channel.
at the start, your psi is either too high or your primer is too thin. Getting that kind of pooling and drop buildup when priming the cockpit isn't good. Spiderwebbing also when shading, you're pushing too much air for being closer to the model. For the 3d decals, I'd recommend using a white pva glue. Think elmers glue. It's less destructive to the decal paper. A bit overly critical, but all of the above are things I've learned or been told in my model making journey and it's all helped make me a better model maker
@NyteStalker89 thank you so much! Thanks for being apart of this great community! Dude. I always have my pressure too high lol I hate the stupid airbrush clogging. But in the Cockpit you can't see anything anyways. And I'm going to try some places glue next time! Thanks for commenting!

@@CharlieDexter99 hahahha. Boxes are good too!

Boxes? Like the kind you can’t see in? 😂😂. It’s not unreasonable to think mine will end up in a box!

It's amazing how they've made the kits a lot more detailed now!
Nice build! Use a pva type glue for 3d decals, I use ammo ultra glue, and it's perfect! Keep up the good work!
@purplejarvy I'm going to get that thank you for recommending, and I'll try some stuff that I have, but ill place that stuff on order for the future!

@jcwoodman5285 i have the mini art p47 as well! A bit intimidating with all 20 sprues you get hahah. I thing there is less sprue on my 1/48 b-29 lol

Use a Round Toothpick to help in removal of the Canopy Masks.

I think it's a very nice build......But almost all that interior detail will never be seen, kind of like painting the inside of a wall
It is a lot of work but I love doing it all haha!
